I'm completely satisfied with my college's placements infrastructure and all facilities.

Placements: Placement wise NITK is one of the best college of India. I'm currently studying m tech and I will complete in June 2018. There is 99% placement of CSE and IT departments and others departments placement also better than other colleges. In this college more than 150+ companies come every year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best part of NITK. It has large campus. Newly Established Departments, lecture hall complexes they have large classrooms with projector and speakers and mikes. NITK has central library and central computer center. For medical facilities it has health care centre, for sports it has two sports complexes one is older and another is newly Established. It also has 15 hostel blocks and one hostel block is under construction. Labs are very good and food quality in canteens is also good.

Faculty: I don't know other departments faculty members but I can tell about my department's faculty members. In my department all faculty members are highly educated and highly experienced. The teaching methods of the faculty members is presentation based. They teach by laptops and projectors. They are very helpful. Here one teacher has four students in m tech. They also send their students to industry for internship.

Other: There are a lots of events and fest occurs. Some of the technical and some of cultural and sports. There are a lots of clubs working for extra curricular activities.

National institute of technology, surathkal ( pros& cons).

Placements: Placements was not there for M.Tech students. This is very sad. We students work hard for GATE exam and qualify it then take admission only on the name of college but what we get in reverse. Zero placements. Placements are good for B.Tech but for m. tecg it is horrible.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure us really good. It includes college, classroom, library and hostel all are really good and up to mark. I am quite happy with the facilities. And also it has good and rich laboratory as well as sports complex and Private Beach. I am quite happy and Satisfied.

Faculty: Faculty members are obviously good. But these days what happen they are more into consultancy work rather than teaching students. These things needs to be changed. We are really hopeful from our teachers but these they are more into their benefit. Course is okay.

Good placement, infrastructure is improving , need improvement in food, some faculties are good.

Placements: Placement is good. If you have good talent nothing can stop you. Average is 10lpa. Most of the students get placed. For my batch it went really fine. The lowest was 4lpa and the highest 24lpa. I have not included the one from offcampus. Super dream companies also come at end. Different possible roles student get are technical staff, analysis, research side, management, software engineer etc. Even for internship companies come n it all depends on student. If they r very much talented they take it. Many end up getting PPOs. Internship what I feel is very much useful as it gives u experience of working with the company plus u get more efficient in deciding what to do next. Also after PPO u can relax a bit as u need not go through much interviews. In M.Tech few got as only a few did and n B.Tech a lot of them got.

Infrastructure: We have got good labs. Many of the departments are newly constructed. Canteen need to improve. Not much options we have. Sports is also good here. We have two sports complex plus various sports teams representing outside college. We go out to play and have also received trophies. Day by day the infrastructure is improving but still need an improvement in canteens and food. Medical facility is just fine here. Nothing great nothing less.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful not all. Nothing will be spoonfeeded at this time. Your effort is very much required. Method is fine. More options should be provided. As in M.Tech strength be less we need to take elective based on other s choice as for just two or three students it's difficult to arrange a staff. Student to faculty ratio for M.Tech is like 2:5. excluding ALs and PhDs as sometimes even they take class. Curriculum is fine good. We get internship option but only for like two months. Our college prefer inhouse projects.

Other: We get scholarship from DRDO as we have cleared GATE. But some management rules really need to be improved as they r not in favour of students. A *** lot of extra curricular activities keep happening in campus so it's really good.

The college is having a private beach.

Placements: Here, the placements are very good, and all major tech giants come to recruit here every year, and some of them are Intel, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Qualcomm, uber, Intuit, and many more. The average package of M.Tech, CSE students here is above 9 LPA, and some of the students got a package as high as 22 LPA, but most will get in the range between 12 LPA- 17 LPA. One of the most important things here is you will get your joining in Bangalore only.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise this college is very good, and all departments have the advanced infrastructure, and especially lecture hall complexes are very good here and maintained properly. All labs are air conditioning and systems are of very good configuration and working very well in the college.

Faculty: The course curriculum of M.Tech, CSE is not very good, and most of it will be theoretical. There is lack of projects and lab work, but some faculty members are very good and have advanced knowledge in their field namely Mohit sir, and Alvin sir in CSE department have very deep knowledge in their area.

M Tech from NITK experience.

Placements: For second year major project, I joined Dell EMC company as an intern, then after completion of internship, I joined as a full time employee. Placement herr is very good, you will get lot of companies to appear for placements here. Maintain 7 CGPA and you will have chance for more companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good here. Playground is there. Gym, badminton courts are there. Hostels are good. Food is south indian mostly. You will have night canteen and you can order for room delivery. Beach is there to roam around. Faculty members are good here.

Faculty: Faculty members are nice here. No partiality here. They are supportive in nature. Teaching style and methodology is good. You can interact with them easily. You can ask doubts and get them clarified. Overall highly skilled faculty members and staff. Assignments and all will be there. Very good evaluation system.
