Placements: The college offered decent placement opportunities for chemical engineering students. It had a placement cell that took care of all the placement and job opportunities on the campus. Top companies of the country like IBM, Deloitte, Siemens, TCS, Wipro, Bosch CMS, HCL, Godrej, Kotak, ICICI, Amazon, Infosys, etc., visited the campus for student placements and provided good salary packages. Placements: I'm studying at NITK Surathkal as a mechanical engineering student. Around 80-90 percent of students who sit for placements get placed. The average package is around 10 LPA-12 LPA, and the highest can go above 25 LPA. Top recruiters are L&T, Mahindra, Bosch, etc. Around 60-70 percent of students got an internship through campus or non-campus opportunities. Top offered roles include R&D engineer, Design engineer, mechanical engineer, and production engineer.
Placements: Nearly 80 percent of students got placed, and others also did not like that they were not placed. They went for higher studies. Microsoft was the top recruiter. More than 50 percent of students got internships. SDE was one of the top roles. The highest package was offered 73 LPA for the IT, CS, and CSS branch and 64 LPA for the AI branch.
Placements: 74 percent of students get placed in the campus drive. The highest CTC is around 34 LPA, and the average package is around 11 LPA. Oracle, Airtel, HDFC, and CITI Bank are the top recruiting companies. Around 80–90 percent of students receive internships, commonly offered by Microsoft, Oracle, and Uber.
Placements: Internships are provided by various tech companies that come to the college. They offer role which are pretty much what you're expected to get from the college. The time period is for around 2-6 months. The placements are pretty good, with top companies attending them. Companies such as Goldman Sachs, Google, Microsoft, etc., participate in them. The highest package goes around 56 LPA, the average for CSE being around 28 LPA. 95% of them are placed.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students are placed from mining. The highest package is 36 LPA, and the median is around 12 LPA and the same for the average. Top recruitment companies are Vedanta, mainly for core, for tech, most of the top companies are there. Internship is bad, it's around 10 to 20 percent. GET is the top core role.

No, BTech at the NIT Surathkal is not that costly. The fees for the BTech course is around INR 5 Lacs and the college gives many specialisations also under its BTech programme.
