NIT Surathkal College Review.

Placements: Over 95% of our students land jobs after graduation from our college. This year, the highest salary package from my branch hit around 50 LPA, while the average for core electrical engineering was about 15 LPA. Absolutely a good college in order to learn, with better infrastructure and good placements in 2026.

Placements: In civil engineering, we have 70% placed in different companies, and rest are for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc. Our college placement cell, CDC, has been doing great work for past 3-4 years. Highest package is 22 LPA, and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting company is BPCL. 30% of students got internships, and top roles are associate engineering and supply chain.

Review of NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: All I want to say about placements is that mechanical students tend to get selected more into non-core, management, and other sectors than into core mechanical roles. So, yes, the placements look good on paper, but you need to realize there aren't many jobs available, and even if there are, they don't pay well.
