NITK- A perfect blend of academics and extra curriculum activities.

Placements: The college puts efforts n makes sure that more than 50% of the students are placed. All the top notch biotech companies like Biocon, Enzene Biosciences visit the campus. The average package can be anywhere between 3-5 LPA, depending on the post. The professors also make sure that they help the students who want to pursue Ph.D. in India as well as abroad.

Infrastructure: The college has tried its best to update itself with the modern technology. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. The Wi-Fi connection is available anywhere in the campus with a limit of 10GB per day. A new indoor sports complex was inaugurated recently for Badminton, tennis and table tennis. Girls hostel is also equipped with a gym with all the necessary machines.

Faculty: All the professors here are highly qualified for their respective subjects. They are PhD's from eminent institutions like IITs, IISC's n even abroad. They are always available to us for any doubts and clarifications. Regular tests are conducted by them to make sure that we keep ourselves regular in studies. Practical and industry oriented problems are discussed in the class. Necessary topics are also explained via videos using the projector, wherever required.

Other: The college boosts of its cultural fest INCIDENT n its technical fest, ENGINEER. Thousands of students from all over India throng the campus and witness the cut throat level competition. The cash prizes kept for the events are good. The sponsors making to the campus are also cherry on the cake.

Good college, infrastructure, and placements.

Placements: From the 2nd semester, we are eligible to get internships, so along with many students, we can get PPO. The number of companies visited is all there on the NITK website, but placement is good. In my course, the highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 4.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. In my course, around 85-90 percent of students get placed. I wanted a job in a pharmaceutical company.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi all over the campus with CCTV security. Classrooms are top-notch, and all facilities, like projectors and smart boards, are available. The library is good, and all types of books and magazines are available. Hostels are good. There are 2-seated and 3-seated rooms. There are different grounds for different sports.

Faculty: All faculty members have good qualifications, but some courses are not relevant to us, so it is very difficult to understand. So we are thinking that the faculty is not good. In my course, two faculty members are good. They always focus on good teaching with industry knowledge, others just come and teach Maths and go.
