It is the top-most college in India, and I suggest you never miss a chance to join here.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package of 12 LPA and the average salary package of 7 LPA and the lowest salary package of 5 LPA were offered in our college. Nvidia, Sandisk and Qualcomm were the top recruiters to our college. Verification engineer was the top role offered in our course. About 10% of the students got internships in Intel. Overall, placements were very good in the specialisation of electronics and communication department. First hardware companies visit, then networking followed by software to offer placements.
Infrastructure: We have all high standard facilities, starting from DSP lab, VLSI lab, microwave lab and processor lab. All recent technology experiments are done by both college graduates, research students and PhD scholars. The mess quality is still a concern, but there is a separate sports club, which includes most of the classic games. One hospital is available within the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful from any perspective in general. They are highly knowledgeable and have high teaching standards, and most of them were PhD holders from various IITs and had multiple publications. The course curriculum is very relevant to the subject and industry. It makes students 80% ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because it has high demand, and I also have a high interest in it. I wish lab experiments can be added in our course. The campus is huge and has full of intelligent students from various parts of India.
