NIET Noida BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2024
NIET Noida BTech is a four-year programme, which is divided into semester patterns. It is offered across different specialisations, including Computer Science, Biotechnology, Information Technology, etc. NIET BTech admission shall be done based on candidates' merit in JEE Main followed by UPTAC counselling. The institute allows admission to the BTech programmes based on merit in the last qualifying exam as well under the direct admission category.
Further, for selection, it is also crucial that the aspirant fulfils the course-specific eligibility requirements as highlighted below:

The BTech course fee is a cumulative of multiple components. The fee varies based on the chosen specialisation. According to the official website, the total 1st year fees for BTech students is INR 1,79,100. From the next year onwards, the fee becomes INR 1,55,700. Similarly, the first and next years' fees for BTech Lateral Entry students is INR 1,48,500 and INR 1,26,900, respectively. This is the total fees, which is inclusive of all formal charges, but exculding the bus transportation fee.

NIET Noida BTech Admission 2024: How to Apply?
NIET BTech course admission is a multi-step procedure that involves application form filling, the release of the cutoff list, counselling, and seat allotment. The course admission is direct and entrance-based. Aspirants have to go through each of the admission stages for seat confirmation. Before applying for NIET Noida course admission, it is advisable to check out the minimum eligibility requirement. Each of the stages of the admission process is further explained below:
STEP 1: NIET Noida BTech Application Process 2024
The first step is online registration and application form filling. NIET BTech application form can be filled out in online mode through the institute's official website. The steps to fill out the NIET online application form are:
Step 1.1: Visit the NIET official website (niet.co.in) and click on the 'Admission Open' tab.
Step 1.2: Register with the candidate's name, email and contact number.
Step 1.3: Verify with the OTP received and log in with the credentials created.
Step 1.4: Select the course applying for, and click on 'Apply Now'.
Step 1.5: Enter your course preferences, followed by your details.
Step 1.6: Upload the important documents such as the candidate's photograph, signature, mark sheets, etc.
Step 1.7: Pay the required application fee via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
STEP 2: Shortlisting of Students
In the next step, candidates are shortlisted based on scores in the JEE Main exam. NIET cutoff is announced for admission in each BTech specialisation. The students with eligible scores get a seat in the desired programme through UPTAC counselling. Additionally, admission is also directly offered to students fulfilling the criteria prescribed by the institute.
STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

In order to apply to the BTech course at NIET College, candidates need to meet the last educational qualification. Students should complete Class 12 with 45%-40% aggregate.
