I am absolutely dissatisfied due to college management, bad infrastructure and bad placements.
Placements: About 20% of the students got placed in 2019 from our college. The highest salary package is offered by TCS, and it was 3. 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.4 LPA. TCS was the top recruiting company for our college. None of the students got an internship. In our college, placements condition is very bad as none of the companies visits here for on-campus placements. We used to go KIIT for off-campus drives during our tenure. When there was Tinku sir, our college was on top in Orissa, but now, it became a waste college. They are just spoiling students life.
Infrastructure: Until 3 years ago, our college was good, but now it is not good for engineering as management is not focusing on college quality as it has only one motto to earn money. They don't pay salary to teachers on time, so always staff members don't attend college during semester exams.
Faculty: All the teachers were not qualified to teach proper engineering subject except for 2 or 3 teachers. They always used to teach from their notes and make us copy it. So, we just passed our engineering. In the last semester, our exams are strict because they had conducted in another college.
Other: I chose IT because it has much significance in all areas and growth in new technology. It also has a good scope.

It is the first private college in Odisha.
Placements: Less than 30% of the students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered to students is 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many visits here for recruiting. The salary package offered in our course was less than 4 LPA. I am not sure about the students getting internships from reputed companies.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility at our college. Labs are available, and the facilities are also good. Classrooms are quite good. The infrastructure is also good. The library is also available in our college. The quality of the facilities in our college is good. The quality of the food served in the mess is very good. It is also neat and clean.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain everything in a very short period, which is interesting and not that lengthy. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen information technology as it is very important in daily life. Software companies are the best part of our course. Events, fests, connectivity, campus surroundings, all are good here.

This is suitable for ideal learning.
Placements: In our college approximately 70% student got placement. And the highest salary is of 6 Lacs and the average is 3 lpa. The placements are attractive that most of the students got placed there is the placement cell on the campus outside. The college has a good training and placement venue.
Infrastructure: The college provides large 100 acres of campus in which it includes many buildings of various departments. List of major laboratory equipment and facilities, workshops, the college has conducting annual fest, orientation day and such other activities the college has its boys hostel.
Faculty: The college provides various types of degrees in various departments or branches. It provide Bachelor of technology, master of technology, the college has some of the qualified professor in every department. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is very helpful.
Other: I choose information technology.

Faculty members were poor, and the support becomes biased. Placements are decreasing every year.
Placements: More than 50% of the students got placed in 2019. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. TCS, Zycus, Wipro, Byju's, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Software developer was the top roles offered to students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college. Labs were average. Classrooms were okay, and the library was good. The quality of the food served in the canteen is poor. Medical facilities were bad. Sports was average. There are outdoor games like cricket, volleyball and football and indoor games like badminton, chess, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were average qualified, and their help becomes biased for local students. Teachers knowledge was quite average. The quality of teaching was poor as they take the help of notes and then only they can teach. The course curriculum was relevant as students don't get proper practical knowledge.
Other: I was okay with computers. The course should include more practising sessions. Events like MUN, Tech-fest were organised in our college. The campus crowd was poor. The campus surrounding was less. The college also provides scholarship to students.

The college is not that good as it used to be.
Placements: Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, TCS, and Zycus visited the campus to hire the students. The salary packages offered by them was great, and it was in between 3 LPA to 5 LPA, and few also offered 6 LPA. They recruit lots of students. This year, only Zycus and TCS visited the college for IT students and offered the salary package of about 3 LPA. Zycus recruited 7 students, and TCS has made its exams national, so we don't know the numbers as yet. People mainly go for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Labs are equipped with computers, and most of the times, many have technical issues. Classrooms are good. The library has a great reading space and amazing books. There is a small dispensary which takes care of basic medical needs. There is an ambulance. Sports facilities are okay.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are good, knowledgeable, qualified, helpful and are very supportive of the students who are regular to classes and who want to go far in their career. The teaching methodology includes a marker and whiteboard.
Other: This year, the campus crowd has declined considerably with only 300 students by combining all the branches. There are dhabas and cultivation grounds in the surroundings of the college. The college is at about a distance of 1 hour from the main city Bhubaneswar. One should drive one hour to and fro from the college, and it is very tiring, leaving very little time for home studies or other activities.

Overall a good college if you are a passionate.
Placements: Placements are quite okay in terms for CSE/it branches. TCS is the main recruiter. Till the year 2015, the placement was good, but now a bit weakened. Even the TCS has now degraded from 185 students in year 2016 to 78 students this year. Few (1-2) companies visit for other branches than CSE/it.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good. Classes of all branches are held in main one building. Only the lab section is divided. Wi-Fi, small dispensary, sports facility is available. No basketball court. Half of labs contain same old computers. Not focused on practicals.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are good. A bit of practical knowledge should have been focused on. No industry exposure.45:1 is the student to faculty ratio. Course syllabus is based on BPUT (University) and it matches with all other colleges. Teachers are cooperative. They help you with placement and other related stuffs. You need to join this college with a motivation to strive hard yourself for the success. Do not depend on academic facility by college. You will get help but you will have to start with managing yourself.
Other: Zezen and zephyr are the two main festivals help in every year. Not that crowd atmosphere. Boys hostel is in the main campus. Where as girls hostel is 18kms away from campus located in main Bhubaneswar. Quite a few events are held including MUN, sports etc.

It was a good college for average students.
Placements: Placement was average in the college, most of the students were placed in TCS. Other than this, companies like tech Mahindra, ADP, Mindtree came. they took very less number of students, average package offered was around 3.2 lac per annum. Appox 60% of students were placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise it's okay. Not very good. Classroom and all very not of modern era, old style. Need to improve more on that, library was quite good, we had many big grounds were students used play crickets and all other sports. Lab quality was good. Hostel wise they need to improve a lot. Canteen was also not that satisfactory.
Faculty: It offers all the technical course like B.Tech, M.Tech. Faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive. Teaching quality was fine not that good. We had number of faculty members. There were very less industry exposure. Course curriculum was useful. Teaching method was generally theoretical very less practicals we used to do.
Other: We had one annual fest which was really good. There were others events too at state level and at interstate level. Connectivity was a bit of a problem in this college as it was situated far away from the city.

Decent college for engineering!
Placements: Placements are decent in this college. Even if you are from core branches you have a decent chances to get placed in core companies that come into our college. College has a decent training and placement department where students of 3rd year get training like how to be in front of the interviewer. Many companies are recruiting like TCS, Mindtree, Wipro etc. Last year TCS has recruited 140 students from our college that's pretty awesome.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine. Being a information technology student, I never felt like labs are not fully equipped. There is one instructor for each lab. Library is quite not good because they are providing only 4 books one at a time. It needs to be changed. Wi-Fi facilities are available. Classrooms are quite good. Even there is a medical facility available. if someone got injured or sudden health is not well they can go to the dispensary.
Faculty: Faculty is overall fine but not too good. They are able to clear our doubts so what else do we need? About course curriculum, faculties gave full potential to complete the curriculum on time and mostly they complete as well. So nothing to be worry about completion of course.
Other: Every year there are two functions is to be held in college premises- one is "FOUNDATION DAY" and "ZAZEN & ZEPHYR". Foundation day is to be celebrated in the month of September. On this day a great function is organised with singing and dancing! And ZAZEN and Zephyr is the annual tech cum cultural fest is organised in the month of February in which students are performing in each event held in this 3-day event on the third day DJ night and star night is organised. this year, indian idol singers came into our college for star night and DJ Tushar came on the day of dj night.
