There is a good balance between academics and co-curricular activities.
Placements: Around 90% of eligible candidates were placed in the 2024-25 academic session. The highest package is 32 LPA, and the average package is around 6-7 LPA. TCS, and Infosys, among many others, are the top recruiters. Around 85% of eligible candidates received internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all the labs, and the speed is quite good. The classrooms are spacious with enough ventilation. The libraries have a rich collection of academic books that students can borrow with ease, and the overdue are pocket-friendly. The libraries are pleasant to sit in due to the academic atmosphere of being in the presence of so many books.
Faculty: The faculty here is extremely knowledgeable, with many of them being Ph.D. holders. The professors give their all to teach students and are open to discussion outside of lectures too. The exams are not that difficult, given that, you study every day. They cover every aspect of the syllabus and include concept-intensive questions.
Other: I chose this course due to having an interest in Information Technology. The best thing about my course is probably the practical aspect of it. Pillai College of Engineering has the biggest fest (Alegria) in Navi Mumbai, with many other events being held regularly. The crowd here is very diverse. College has good connectivity, with other places be it by local train, bus, rickshaw, or other means of roadways.

I'm currently in the first year and Pillai College of Engineering is an institute with a reputation.
Placements: The placement cell operates exceptionally well, securing a majority of students, around 70 percent. The average package is 3–4 LPA, while the highest reaches around 12 LPA. Notably, the cutoff for the academic year 2023 in computer engineering was 95%, and in information technology, it was 92%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is truly remarkable. The ventilation system ensures fresh air circulation, while the expansive campus offers ample space for various activities. One notable feature is the inclusion of a shooting range, which adds a unique dimension to extracurricular activities and sports. Gymkhana facilities enhance the sports culture with the inclusion of badminton and a variety of activities promoting fitness. The rooms boast comfort and allow for a delightful atmosphere. The library has an impressive collection of resources catering to diverse academic interests. Not to mention, the campus provides scenery and a spacious environment for gathering and relaxation.
Faculty: The course is thoughtfully designed to be accessible and conducive to student success, facilitating a smooth path for learners to be engaged and achieve top scores. Study leaves are provided so that students have the opportunity to manage their study sessions and get maximum output. Overall, the learning experience is top-notch, thanks to the dedicated and knowledgeable teaching staff.
Other: There is a perfect balance between studies and entertainment. Alegria, the biggest event, exemplifies this balance.

Review of Pillai College of Engineering.
Placements: Some of the top companies that recruit from my course include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Reliance Jio, Flipkart, and Amazon. These firms are regulars at PCE, with TCS and Infosys being mass recruiters, while companies like Flipkart and Amazon offer higher packages to a select few. Deloitte and Tech Mahindra also make appearances, focusing on niche tech roles.
Infrastructure: PCE is a Google-enabled campus with Wi-Fi available across the premises. The connectivity is generally reliable, though there can be occasional network congestion in high-traffic areas like classrooms or labs during peak hours. It is a boon for coding, research, and accessing online resources. The computer labs are a standout feature, equipped with modern workstations, updated software like MATLAB, Python IDEs, and cloud tools, and decent hardware for programming and simulation tasks. The department also has specialized labs for AI, data analytics, and networking, which align with courses and electives.
Faculty: Faculty in the information technology department at PCE is a strong mix of experienced and approachable educators. Most professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutions, and many have industry experience, which adds depth to their teaching. Good academics and infrastructure .
Placements: Placements scenario is good for Computer Engineering. Good number of companies visit for campus placements and a good number of students get placed. This year, 18 lacs per annum was the highest package. Average 6 -7 lacs CTC is offered for IT related fields. You can choose Pillai as it is a good college.
Infrastructure: Pillai has an excellent infrastructure compared to the other colleges in Navi Mumbai. Large and spacious classrooms, AC labs, huge libraries with large number of book available, canteen, corridors, etc. are provided by the college. Large playgrounds are available for the students. College provides Wi-Fi connection in your laptops.
Faculty: As Pillai is an autonomous college, the curriculum is different from MU college and is better as well. It is more focused on core subjects like C+ programming and Java from the 1st year itself. Faculty members here are also good, experienced and will qualified. Exams are organized well.
Other: Other than academics, Pillai has Rangmanch for those who are interested in acting and drama. The college has a sports team and a gym for fitness enthusiasts. Alegria is Pillai's biggest annual fest which is very interesting and attracts students.

Nice faculty, placements are good.
Placements: Placement is good for our college. The highest CTC offered for our batch is 7.5 from Capgemini and the role offered is that of analyst. The average was 5.5, and the lowest was 3.5. Overall, everything is good. Top recruiting companies were Capgemini, TCS, Reliance Jio, and many more. 80% students were placed.
Infrastructure: I don't know about the hostel because I have never lived there. The infrastructure of our college is awesome. Everything is provided properly like Wi-Fi and labs. Classrooms are okay. The library is good in our college and the canteen food is good. Sports and games are also good.
Faculty: There are qualified and knowledgeable teachers. They are helpful if you ask any doubts related to your subjects. The teaching quality is also good of our college. The passing percentage of our college is 70-80% and semester exams are not difficult.
