Everything is well defined.
Placements: At PICT (Pune Institute of Computer Technology), the placement record for our course has been consistently strong over the years. Around 92% of students are placed in the most recent placement season, reflecting the institute's dedication to me.
Infrastructure: Our department offers smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs, and a rich library. Hostels have decent rooms, hygienic mess food, canteen variety, 24X7 medical support, and excellent sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers at PICT are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. The teaching quality is strong, blending theory with practical insights. The curriculum is regularly updated and industry-relevant, focusing on core teach skills. Semester exams are moderately challenging but fair. With proper preparation, students can perform well. Pass percentage remains consistently high, around 95%, reflecting both effective teaching and student engagement.
Other: Everyone is part of the computer engineering batch of 2025 at PICT. I chose this course for its strong tech base and career scope. The fests, coding culture, campus crowd, and extracurricular activities are great. More industry projects would make it even better. Things are good here.

The college has good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: 98% of students are placed. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, the highest package is 36 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Adobe, and PhonePe are recruiting. 50 to 60% of students get internships through campus placements. They need to find internship offers on campus.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi for each student. The labs are average in size—not too big or too small. There is also a hostel on campus. Many hostel facilities are available, such as Wi-Fi in each room, water purifiers on each floor, and toilets and bathrooms attached to each hostel room.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant to the course. They prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are average neither too hard nor too easy. Average students can score before the exam day.

PICT college honest review .
Placements: Placements are good, but there is too much competition. Take VJTI/CUMMINS/COEP if possible. The college also has separate dream criteria, and sometimes they shortlist students based on their CGPA. You can also consider WCE Sangli, as that college has no such criteria.
Infrastructure: The college campus is pretty small, and only the girls' hostel is bearable. The mess food is absolutely trash. Other than that, the college has a big ground where you can play a variety of sports, and the college also has indoor sports facilities like carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: Faculty members are rude, and in the practical exams, even if you perform well and your viva goes moderately, they will give you a B grade. They don't consider students' lives; even if you have important things going on, like interviews and other commitments, assignments are more important to them.

Strong placements, great faculty, and balanced campus life at PICT Pune.
Placements: The placement scenario for our batch is highly encouraging. Over 85% of students get placed by the end of the placement season, especially in core and IT roles. About 60% of students receive internships through campus, with companies like BNY Mellon, Barclays, ZS Associates, Capgemini, and TCS offering intern roles in development, data analysis, and consulting. Top roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE), Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Associate Consultant, Full-Stack Developer, and QA Engineer.
Infrastructure: For the Computer Engineering department, the classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with projectors and smart boards. The department has multiple advanced computer labs with high-speed internet, updated software, and proper seating arrangements. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, though the speed can fluctuate during peak hours. The library is well-stocked with textbooks, reference books, journals, and e-resources, making it an excellent space for academic work and preparation for competitive exams. The hostel facilities are secure, clean, and well-managed. Rooms are available and spacious. The mess food is decent, with a focus on hygiene, although the taste can be improved at times.
Faculty: Faculty in the Computer Engineering department is highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, with many holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. They are approachable and actively help students during and outside lectures. The teaching quality is concept-focused, often supplemented with real-world examples, industry case studies, and hands-on lab sessions. The curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated to include modern topics like Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Web Development, and Cloud Computing. It lays a strong foundation in core Computer Science subjects and emphasizes practical skills through projects and electives, making students industry-ready.
Other: I chose Computer Engineering at PICT because of its strong academic reputation, excellent placement record, and focus on technical skill-building. The course offers a perfect blend of theoretical depth and practical exposure, with access to various electives and mini-projects from the second year onward. The best part is the hands-on learning through labs, coding competitions, and student-led tech clubs like CSI, ACM, and CodeChef Chapters.

PICT, is one of the best colleges but highly competitive.
Placements: I am still a fresher, but I have heard good things about the placements. This year Dell came and hired over fifty people from third year. Many other companies also come and give good international internships for the students. This is about the placements.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi all around the campus; the labs are decent but not very fancy; they do just fine. I do not know much about the hostel, as I have opted for living in a PG. But to my knowledge, the rooms are spacious; however, the common drawback that I hear is that the washing machine isn't available .
Faculty: Its highly competitive here, and it's very difficult to keep up. Teachers vary; some are good and some are pathetic. They recently made the course autonomous, meaning that they can update the syllabus according to their will, so as of now they try to make it relevant.
