RV College of Engineering UG, PG Courses 2025

Known to offer various UG and PG programs across Engineering and Technology, the college offers students BTech, MTech and MCA programmes. Rashtriya Vidyapeeth College of Engineering (RVCE) admission 2023 for all UG and PG courses is entrance-based. RV College of Engineering is a prestigious co-educational institute located in Bangalore, Karnataka affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University.

It's not possible on just the basis of  your 12th board results.

You should have 60% in 12th and must appear for atleast one entrance exam like Kcet Comedk or Jee main.

Even for management seat you must appear for one of these exams but here ranking doesn't matter under this quota.

RVCE admission for all UG and PG courses is entrance-based. At the UG level, RV College of Engineering offers a four-year BE across 10+ specialisations. For admission, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility set by the institute and must appear for one among KCET,  COMEDK,  JEE Main or any other national-level/ state-level entrance exam.

Yes, R.V. College of Engineering offers M.Tech courses for two years. The college offers several specialisations in M.Tech courses. In addition, to get admission into an M.Tech course, candidates are required to complete their BE/ BTech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 45 % for SC and ST category students. 

The branch-wise placement data has been disclosed. The highest salary offered was INR 67 LPA and was made to CSE students. Branches like AIML, EEE, ECE, ME recorded the highest salary of INR 53 LPA, INR 30 LPA, INR 37 LPA and INR 18.33 LPA. The average salary for CSE, AIML, EEE, ECE, ME branches stood at INR 19.73 LPA, INR 17.29 LPA, INR 12.45 LPA, INR 16.47 LPA, and INR 9.22 LPA. Furthermore, 166 CSE stiudents were placed and 190 offers were made to the CSE students. The number of offers made to the AIML branch students was 63 and number of students placed was 54.

The overall highest package offered during RV College of Engineering placements 2025 was INR 67 LPA. This was offered to the BE students. In addition to this, the highest salary offered to M.Tech and MCA students during the 2025 placements was INR 35 LPA and INR 20 LPA, respectively.

 Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) results have been announced for all BE/BTech specialisations for the General AI category. As per the KCET Cutoff 2025, the cutoff ranged from 234 to 15717.5 in the first and the last round closing ranks. The hardest specialisation for admission proved to be B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the last round closing cutoff with 742 as the qualifying rank. 

Yes, R.V. College of Engineering does offer internships in the MCA curriculum. The information available on the official website of the college states that- "The MCA programme is a professional PG programme comprising of four semesters inclusive of one full semester project internship in industry/ institute.
