- Three photocopies of the PGCET 2024 rank sheet or GATE scorecard
- Three photocopies of the mark sheet and passing certificate of Class 10, Class 12 and graduation
- Three photocopies of Transfer and Migration Certificates for students from outside Maharashtra state
- Three photocopies of Aadhaar Card
- Three photocopies of PAN Card
- Two recent passport-size photographs and one stamp-size photograph

RVCE admission for all UG and PG courses is entrance-based. At the UG level, RV College of Engineering offers a four-year BE across 10+ specialisations. For admission, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility set by the institute and must appear for one among KCET, COMEDK, JEE Main or any other national-level/ state-level entrance exam.
Currently, R.V.C.E has not released the cutoff for the M.Tech course 2025 on the basis of GATE/ K-PGCET ranks/scores. However, to get an idea about the competitiveness of cutoff in the previous years, candidates can check the below table:

To gain admission to RVCE Bangalore BTech courses, candidates must have achieved a minimum of 60% aggregate in their Class 12 exams or the last qualifying exam. For M.Tech courses, applicants must have graduated with at least 50% marks. The required aggregate depends upon the course. Moreover, for courses where admission is entrance-based, a good exam score is required. RVCE Bangalore announces cutoff marks for each course. There are multiple factors affecting the cutoff marks. - Original Admission Order issued by KEA/ Management
- Class 10 & 12 Marksheet
- Graduation Marksheet
- Original Transfer Certificate
- If the student has qualified other than Karnataka state, they have to submit an original Migration Certificate
- Photocopy of students' Aadhar Card
- Valid score card of entrance examination, etc.
To secure admission to RV College of Engineering (RVCE), qualifying for the KCET examination is mandatory. It is important to note that 45% of the total seats at RV College are reserved for students from Karnataka. The cutoff rank for each Bachelor's programme in engineering varies for candidates belonging to the RBC category and is determined through the KCET examination. To increase your chances of getting admission to the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programme at RVCE, you should aim to secure a PCM score of more than 280. It is advisable to aim for a score of 140+ to be on the safer side. The competition for admission to RVCE ranges from 130 to 145 candidates per year.
