It has good infrastructure and faculties, nice peers and excellent extracurricular opportunities.

Placements: College doesn't provide campus placement opportunities. However, that is not an issue. Most of the students go for higher studies from the college like PhD, and M.Sc. So, they don't provide placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good. The infrastructure is awesome. The college doesn't provide Wi-Fi facility that is a problem. Otherwise, everything is very good. Every facility in the hostel was good. The food was healthy, the rooms and washrooms were hygienic enough. There were a gym and a swimming pool. The facilities for games and sports are excellent. The college also has a stadium.

Faculty: There were 4 faculty members in the Economics department. Every one of them was pretty good & helpful. They had abundant knowledge in their domains and taught us holistically. The course curriculum is relevant enough. The course makes the students industry-ready. The students become ready to face the outside world after completion of the course.

Good environment and good study place.

Placements: There is no campus recruitment from this college. This college provides a good education level which provides students for further higher studies. Most of the students go for higher studies to institutions like IIT, ISI, IISER, Hyderabad University, Pondicherry University, IISC, VIT etc. Most of the students go for the master's degree. Others go for jobs with a very good education background. But unfortunately or fortunately, there is no recruitment programme offered from this college.

Infrastructure: It has a good library. They will provide books for all at the beginning of the semester. There is Wi-Fi only in some departments, not everywhere. You can play cricket, football, lawn tennis or badminton here. Classrooms are good but only chalk blackboards are there. Some lecture halls have a projector and marker with whiteboards. There is a shrine where you can find your mental peace. It is a place full of trees, so you can enjoy nature.

Faculty: I had done BSc in Economics. The faculty members are so good, helpful and friendly. They will help you in all the way possible. They are very good at their work. At our time, we had 4 professors. The course covers macroeconomics, microeconomics, development economics, mathematical economics, statistical economics, Indian economics, financial economics and one project. You need to take 2 softcore subjects, so the course covers almost everything needed to get a good setup for a higher degree or jobs.

Other: It is an autonomous college affiliated to Calcutta University. So, all the academic purposes are done under this college only. This college is a boys' college. Another rule of this college is it is fully residential. Students must stay in the hostel in order to study here. Hope they will relax this also in future.
