Overall satisfaction is good.
Placements: Almost 85% were placed. The lowest was 3 LPA, and the highest was 5 LPA in the mechanical department. Almost half of them got internships. Top recruiting companies in mechanical departments are TATA, VOLVO, and MAHENDRA. This course is very interesting to study, with much practical knowledge.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure. Well-equipped and advanced labs. Students really love to roam campus instead of listening to classes. Everyone will like the trees and the clean, green campus. There are many courts to play badminton, cricket nets, volleyball courts, basketball courts, etc.
Faculty: Well-experienced lecturers. They help a lot with exam preparation. Teachers are very friendly, except for a few. They explain everything clearly. There is no bad experience with their teaching. They talk very friendly with cool minds. Overall, good and nice.
Other: I choose the mechanical department with passion and interest. And I really love studying it.

If campus life is your priority, join the university.
Placements: As far as all the fellow students are concerned, only the package or LPA, was secured. Thankfully, I secured a 6-LPA package at TATA, even though the package looks kind of mid-range, but trust me, the perks at TATA are extraordinary, and with time and experience, it will grow.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Presidency University is just terrific. The canopy area, the lawn area, and the fountain area are all so scenic, precisely what a student would want to see after a stressful day to just sit and relax near the fountain area with trees and breeze. It's my personal favourite spot to sit and relax with the sunset.
Faculty: Since the college comes under an autonomous board, the faculty members are really cooperative towards the students, but not every faculty member. There will always be the ones you will ignore, and there are always the ones you will want to admire and take inspiration from, especially the PPS department, which is your personal favourite set of faculty members.
Other: I was an ACET student so initially there was this thing about management students and CET students that the management students were superior to CET students because they had paid more than twice the amount we CET students did for the same course but after Diploma students joined, it was all cool and there was no sign of discrimination.

The teaching quality, events, and environment are good, but the systems of NE and NP are not good.
Placements: In our college, almost 60% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies like Tata, Capgemini, Microsoft, etc., visited our campus. All types of courses were offered.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, libraries, and sports were available, but there was no playground for cricket, and you had only limited grounds for basketball. The hostel was good. The quality of the food was good. The hostel was not located at the university. Hostels were far from the university.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in all courses except the mechanical branch. The teaching quality was good. The exam system was different. Internal exams were difficult. They followed the procedures of NE and NP.
Other: Events were excellent.

I am satisfied with this college because of its faculty members and placements.
Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, etc. About 30% of students got placed in companies like TCS, Capgemini, etc. Top roles offered are senior analyst and product design engineer.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are good and have projectors. Our campus is under CCTV surveillance. There are around three libraries in our college which are a common library, and the other two are for management and law. The hostel is near our college. The hostel food is not like North Indian food. The hostel does not take additional transport fees. Medical facilities are available in our college. There are around four canteens in our college. Our college has a separate sports arena. Our college provides games like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi, handball, throw ball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and experienced. They are qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is average to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 40%. All exams are for 200 marks. The final exam is for 50 marks. Assignment, labs, note maintenance, viva, and lab record exams are for 150 marks.
Other: All teachers are good. The course content should be improved and provide in-depth topics. Our college organises events at regular intervals for freshers and pass-out students. Our campus has a refreshing environment. Our college provides scholarships to students. Many societies are available in our college and conduct sports, photography, music, and dance. State-level competitions are available in our college. The connectivity is average. Our college invites some guests.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Our college has conducted many interviews and placements are good. Many top recruiting companies visit our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and laboratories are well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available on campus. It also provides a library and several books are available. Hostel facilities are good. The food quality is also better.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and they always make students understand easily. Examinations are tough. If students can pass easily if they know the basics.
Other: The best thing about this course is that you can get placements in well-known companies.

Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.
