It has a good campus to explore. College life is amazing.

Placements: I am from the 2023-2026 BCA data science batch at SRM Kattankulathur, and honestly, placements have been pretty decent for our course. Around 80-85% of students got placed last year. The highest package I heard is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Big companies like Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, and Wipro visited the college for placements. Also, quite a few students got internships, i.e., around 70% in companies like Zoho, Virtusa, and HCL, and some even through a coding platform.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is honestly top-notch. We have good labs, strong Wi-Fi in academic buildings, clean classrooms with projectors, and a huge library. There are plenty of systems for practicing coding. The campus is fully digital and pretty convenient. Hostel life is good too. I stay in the non-AC block, and it is comfortable and clean.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are approachable. If we are into projects or research, then they are willing to guide us. The course curriculum is relevant, with subjects like Python, R, machine learning, big data, etc. We also have guest lectures and workshops that really help us understand the industry.

Great infrastructure and the best institute to fulfill dreams.

Placements: 89% of students get placed. The highest annual package is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. TATA and some startup companies offer internships. Recruitment by companies requires strong skills in communication, various programming languages, a teaching level understanding, and error handling.

Infrastructure: Facilities are friendly and clear our doubts using an easy teaching process. Food, sports, canteen, etc., are well-managed. The infrastructure is great, and every sport is given importance. The food is healthy and clean. Emergency medical facilities are available, and the roads and library system are the best.

Faculty: Teachers help and make concepts clear and understandable to students. Every semester exam may be a little bit hard, but we can learn. Each semester takes around four months to complete. There are cycle test 1 and cycle test 2, followed by a model exam before the semester exams.

Placements: I belong to the 2026 batch of BCA in artificial intelligence and data science and am currently in my third year. Based on the current placement trends observed from our seniors (2024 and 2025 batches), around 85% of students have been successfully placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average package stood at 5.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our department has well-maintained labs with high-speed Wi-Fi, modern systems, and software tools required for AI and data science. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards. The central library is resource-rich with digital access. Hostel facilities are decent with 3-sharing rooms, 24/7 Wi-Fi, clean washrooms, and filtered drinking water.

Faculty: Most faculty members are Ph.D. holders or are pursuing research, and they are supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum is aligned with industry requirements, covering core AI/ML topics, Python, databases, and cloud computing. Regular webinars and certification are encouraged.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in AI and data science, and it has met most of my expectations. The project and internship support from the department was excellent. One thing that could improve is the number of advanced elective courses. The college has strong placement support in the 2026 batch.
