A great place to learn about life, and you will grow as a human in this place.
Placements: 65-70% of students got placed. The highest package ranges from 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package was 5 LPA. Top recruitment company was Micron. Top role offered was instrumentation engineer in VLSI companies.
Infrastructure: Everything was available. Facilities were good. Hostel rooms were good, and you will enjoy them. Sports complex was there, focus on studies, and everything else was gonna be alright. Gym and other amenities were also available. Go for it, and it was worth it. I would recommend this to everyone. Sports were good and other clubs were nice.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was great as well. Course was relevant for industry-focused and was updated regularly. Semester exams were a bit difficult in comparison but make you industry-ready. I would suggest, go for it. Seniors were really good teachers. They could have been better but okay.
Other: EIE was a better department as less students were there. There were less people so less competition and this department was also suitable for GATE exams. Events and fests were great. Scholarships were also available. Our campus had peaceful surroundings with huge greenery.

Pretty decent college because of the placements and research opportunities.
Placements: The previous year, the placement percentage was 80 percent. The highest package is around 28 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The top companies are Haber, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra. Most roles offered are software engineers, and some sales roles are also offered here. Core companies are also coming, like Tata Power, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the class. The infrastructure is pretty decent. The labs are good. The library is very big. It has 2 rooms. One for AC and another for non-AC. The food quality in the mess is the worst—not eatable at all. There are no medical facilities except ambulances. Sports opportunities are good here.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. All have done Ph.D. All have experience above 10 years. The course curriculum is a little bit relevant. There are 2-3 internships that make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so hard. You can say M.Ed. is difficult. The pass percentage is 6 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of the placement ratio and strict curriculum. The best thing is that there are many options where you can choose your favorite subjects. Events are very poor. No scholarship is there.

Faculty: Our faculty members are highly qualified. Some of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good. They are very helpful and kind. Semester exams are conducted very strictly. If you work hard, you can pass every subject. The pass percentage is 40%.

Review of Silicon Institute of Technology.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed in this course. More than 60% of students got multiple job offers. The highest salary package offered was 33 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, SAP Labs, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Mindfire Solutions, and Cognizant. Paid internships are offered in this course. The highest stipend is Rs 40,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It provides many facilities like a library, laboratory, Wi-Fi, and e-laboratory. Classrooms are well-maintained. More than 60 students can sit comfortably in our classrooms. There is a lecture hall in this college. The food served in the canteen is better than hostel food.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. This college is famous for its exams. Semester exams are conducted strictly. You have to study hard to score good marks. The pass percentage is 40%, and around 50% is mandatory for all courses.

Student -friendly environment in college, Ragging free campus.
Placements: Our college has the record of most number of placements per year. And has done the 100% placements in every year. Various companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. Visit every year and on average 25-30 offers are made. The highest placement package is of 35 LPA and the lowest is of 3.5 LPA. The average package is of around 7-8 LPA. Higher percent of students get internship in big companies like Spikewell, Vedanta, etc.
Infrastructure: The best part of this college comes here. I chose this course as I couldn't opt for CSE branch. But the faculty were very helpful. There are well-equipped labs with talented and supportive teachers to guide us. The classroom were also big with well ventilated windows and AC. Classroom are good, student-friendly and very much comfortable to study. Our college facilitates with various club houses for various co-curriculum activities. Wi-Fi facilities being provided at Skylab, library areas and in Hostels also. Hostels facilities are good but can be improved. And students -friendly environment is provided. Meal quality can be improved.
Faculty: The faculty members are very talented, supportive and helping in nature. There teaching methods are excellent as compared to the other colleges. Exams were done in time and proper time was given for self-studies. And as this college conducts practice tests, quizzes and internals so students are very likely to pass the exams.
Other: Annual fest, tech fest and in between the year many kinds of other fests are observed. Many extra curriculum activities such as poem and story writing, sports, different webinars cultural events, exciting games, and other competitions are conducted. There are clubs. Almost all the clubs are run by the students. Various clubs in SIT are Cinemax club, student club, tech club, music club and many more. The reason behind choosing this course is that I gained various knowledge regarding electronic embedded systems and also additional knowledge in IOT domains. Some parts could be improved like foods served in mess, and little hygiene in some areas.

Poor placement cell doing injustice to the diligent faculty members and students.
Placements: Around 20% of the students placed, resulting in mass migration to Bangalore QSpider. I think Silicon Institute should have a tie-up with the Spider group with a discount, given the amount of student it provides. Other than that, faculty members are pretty good and strict. The examination conducted with utmost strictness making us feel like we appear some IAS entrance.
Infrastructure: The library is good, and skylab is fresh. Wi-Fi is weak, and food is good. The sports facility is inadequate. However, infrastructure is diligent.
Faculty: Around 90% of the faculty members were good, but the course was outdated as per BPUT syllabus. Anyways Silicon Institute being autonomous now must have changed the course structure. How much of that is relevant only the future group would say. Faculty members mend all the loopholes the college might have.
Other: There should be an improvement in updating practicals.

Infrastructure is good, but placements should be improved.
Placements: Silicon has a good placement scenario in the past recent years, but it was the worst for our batch of 2014-18. Companies that visited our campus were not that good, and students also were provided with profiles like BPO. Companies like Wipro, Infosys visited our campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was nice. Classrooms were well-furnished. The Wi-Fi was not well-managed due to lack of information system. The food was average at least better than other B.Tech colleges in Bhubaneswar. There is a large playground for a cricket match and also 2 basketball courts. Overall, it is a good place for sports activities.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very sincere, and also conducts many doubt sessions. There were also tutorial classes conducted in the evening for students who didn't understand in the class hours. Workshop classes were conducted every Saturday for students experiments.
Other: The best thing about doing engineering is that you get the chance to use the applications in real life. There should be more application-based study rather than theory classes as it didn't improve our knowledge.

It is the best college with the best faculty.
Placements: Every year around 80% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra come for campus placement. The highest package offered in the year 2018 was 6 LPA, and the average package offered was 2.8 LPA. Students got an internship in different organisations.
Infrastructure: The management provides well-maintained infrastructure with well-maintained laboratory and library. Wi-Fi is provided at every corner of the college campus. The average quality of food is provided. The hostel is well maintained, and hygiene is the priority for the management. Every Wednesday, a lady doctor visits the campus.
Faculty: Faculty are like a pillar for Silicon Institute of Technology. Faculty are well qualified and diverse in their domain. Faculty always helps students at any cost. The course is relevant in today's market situation. The college has the best faculty.
Other: I chose Electronic and Instrumentation engineering because I have lots of interest in chip designing. The only thing which needs to be improvised is more core company should visit a college campus for recruitment.
