Strict about academics and good placement record.
Placements: 80% of students got placed last year. The average package was 5–6 LPA. After every semester, a summer internship is compulsory for every student. An aggregate of 8 CGPA is needed to sit for placements. The level of exams is moderate. Some top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, and the infrastructure is good according to the campus size. Hostel rooms are clean and spacious.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful and cooperative. The teaching quality is good. The mid-term is conducted before the end-term, which is of 20 marks. Then the end-term is conducted, which is 50 marks. There are 10 marks for attendance and 20 marks for teacher assessment, making a total of 100 marks.
Other: Two events (fests) are held throughout the year one is Zygon during February-March, and another is Rhythm Nova during November-December. Many seminars and club-related interactions are done. There are many engaging clubs. Many clubs are there, such as the Mera Academics Club, Switch Club, IEEE Club, Robotics Club, and Creative Club. Many activities are arranged for students on a daily basis.

As I invested more so, I got that much more. That is a placement that everyone needs.
Placements: In my previous batch, the strength of the overall batch was 400, and more than half students in the final year got placed very early, with very few left for placements. In my batch, there are 500 students, and now only 200 are left for placements. Definitely, by the end of the college year, all of them will be placed, as the placement record of our college is very good. 80% of students get placed in our batch. The highest package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Well-equipped classrooms and labs are there for us. Each classroom has Wi-Fi installed, so there are no interruptions in the network. The library area is very calm and a proper environment for studying, with AC and non-AC rooms available as per the needs of students, along with Wi-Fi. Our hostels, for both boys and girls, have clean and hygienic rooms, corridors, and washrooms. Water and electricity are available 24/7. A lift is also installed, as the top floors are there.
Faculty: All faculty members of our college are very good with their knowledge. They teach students in the most efficient and productive way one can understand. They are keen to solve our queries and doubts. The course curriculum is relevant to what I have studied and what other colleges teach. Semester exams are tough but easy to clear if one studies by heart. The passing criteria is 40 percent overall.
Other: I chose this course because, as of now, doing engineering is the only thing for a student interested in computer science. All of my cousins have done engineering, so I did too. Though I couldn't opt for the CSE branch, I am very happy with my electronics branch because faculty members I have are the best, and they teach to the best of their knowledge. One thing I can improve is making the best use of the lab provided to us, as it teaches us practically and makes us understand more.

My college life at Silicon university.
Placements: The placement record of our college is really good. Most of the MNCs visit our college for the recruitment process such as Accenture, Deloitte Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. The average package is around Rs. 50,000. In the 2023 batch, almost 83% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: The college has nice infrastructure but the campus is \small or else the campus environment is so good. We have a central library and a Skylab where students can access free Wi-Fi. We have different academic buildings for computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good and supportive. They support students in every situation and guide them like their parents do. The college conducts 2 exams each semester one is mid-semester of 25 marks and then the end-semester of 60 Marks. The difficulty level is moderate.
Other: I got a spot admission at Silicon University in electronics and communication engineering through the JEE Main rank. My experience in this course is amazing. The faculty members of my branch are supportive and helpful.

Good infrastructure, facilities, and studies.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed every year is quite good. Around 80% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 33 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, CAMS, and Wipro are top recruiting companies. Courses offered are B.Tech, M.Tech, IMCA, MBA, MCA, and many more.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are quite good. Hostel facilities are amazing, as many of my friends live in the hostel. The college organizes many events and sports for students to participate in and gain knowledge from. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not too tough because whatever is taught if you pay attention, then you can do miracles in your semester exams. Seniors are also helpful in providing notes.
Other: I chose ECE because I am much more interested in making my career in VLSI embedded systems and nanotechnology. This branch provides a lot of opportunities to make your career. Many events are conducted for students to take part in, and it can be helpful during your interviews too.

The PDEU SOT Review by SOT Student.
Placements: Placements are good. If students work hard, they get good placements. Suppose there are 1,000 students in the first year. By the time they reach their fourth year, there will be around 700 students remaining. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 70% of students got placements. The top recruiting company is Silicon. It is recognized for its consistency in placements among engineering institutes in Odisha. More than 70% of students get placed every year. Around 50% of students get placed with an average compensation of more than 5 LPA. The number of students with paid internships increases every year. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 60,000 per month in 2024. Top companies in product development, startups, and IT services from diverse sectors recruit Silicon students. Some of the notable recruiters from the past three years are Accenture, Adani Group, Aptus Data Labs, Capgemini, Cognizant, Cozentus, CoreEL Technologies, Deloitte, DeepSource, Genpact, IBM, Infosys, Innoware, Jindal Group, LTTS, MentorGraphics, Micron Technology, Mindtree, Mindfire Solutions, Pcon Utilities, Prodapt, PwC, SAP Labs, Scaledge, Surya Digital, Spikewell, TCS, Tata Power, ValueLabs, Vodafone Idea, and Work.
Infrastructure: The lab is average because all the equipment is a little old. Around 80% of the equipment is working. Classrooms are good. Around 60% of classrooms have air conditioners. About 40 classrooms do not have air conditioners. The campus is very small. Classrooms have projectors. Wi-Fi is not available everywhere, but it is available in limited areas. The library is available. Some labs and classrooms are average. The hostel is average because there is no Wi-Fi. They maintain it very well. The security system is very good. They are very helpful to us. The food quality is good. The canteen is also good. There is a doctor available in the evening. If students want medicine, they have to go out of the campus. Sports are very good. Students get leather courts. There are 2 basketball courts, two badminton courts, one volleyball court, and two indoor courts. There are badminton courts inside the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching should cover both theory and practicals. It should be interesting. Different teaching methodologies like lectures, case studies, project work, etc., should be provided. Assessments at regular intervals are held to understand the progress. The curriculum should be in sync with the current industry requirements and the latest technological advancements. Outdated courses would not help students perform well in today's job scenarios. Students must acquire relevant skills that companies look for along with their academics. It may involve internships, live projects, industry-based learning, and exposure to existing tools and technologies. Faculty members are good. They help in any situation. They are always ready to help students on or off campus. We have B.Tech and master's courses. Exams are quite challenging, and the evaluation process is tough. Therefore, if anyone is willing to come, please read this carefully regarding the last year, 2023.
Other: I am an average student. I had no choice, so I joined this college. Our course is good. Our college should provide more facilities like Wi-Fi in the hostel, etc. College life is below average. Fests are not very grateful.

Silicon University review .
Placements: There were about 83% of students placed this year. There were a total 80 recruiters, with 805 job offers and 246 internship offers. The highest package was 28 LPA and the average package is about 5.7 LPA. There are many famous companies, which you have heard about, that take part in recruiting students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that bad and the environment is good and clean. Wi-fi is available in classes but not inside hostel residences. The library gives a good environment; there is no chaos. There are no problems regarding water supply or electricity. The mess food is good except on Monday and Thursday.
Faculty: Faculty members have good qualifications and the teaching method is also good. They help you with every problem you have regarding your personal or professional life. The semester exams are quite difficult and the assignments give you your doubts too but they make it a bit hectic.
Other: This course makes you learn more about technical things, so I chose it. College fests are good and they also have technical fests, which provide you with a chance to face challenges.

Overall the university is good but one should be very hardworking after reaching silicon.
Placements: Silicon is recognised for its consistency in placements among engineering colleges in the state. More than 80% students get placed every year, and around 50% of students get an average compensation of more than 5 LPA. The placements are very good students get a good package the highest package for this year was 28 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus consists of a Wi-Fi-enabled campus with a lush green campus with best football and basketball fields. The campus is compact but very well organized. There is a library with a lot of books and AC in it. You don't need to buy any books there is a book bank where you can get all your books easily. About the hostel, the rooms are actually for 3 people but 4 of them stay, that might be a little problem for some. The food is average but not thatbad, except on Mondays and thursdays.
Faculty: The only best thing about Silicon University is that the academics are very well taught and the faculty members are very well educated and experienced. The course structure is designed in such a way that it helps us get good grades in our exams. The main thing is that the exams are conducted very strictly; there is no chance of copying in the exams. Attendance is the biggest issue.
Other: The study facilities are very well-versed in all-round learning and knowledge. There is a summer internship where you can improve your skills. There is an annual festival conducted every year, which is Zygon. Overall, to be honest, life here is hectic, but it teaches you a lesson.

Satisfied with the course and the faculty members are really helpful. Nice experience till now.
Placements: About 80 percent of students were placed in my branch this year. The highest package is 32 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA and average is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course is Cozentus, Hitech, TCS, Infosys, etc. 90 percent students get internship every year.
Infrastructure: Lab rooms are there with the required lab equipment; classrooms are equipped with ACs and under CCTV surveillance; and some training classrooms are provided with free Wi-Fi. There is also a skylab where we can get free Wi-Fi 24*7 and the library also has AC and free Wi-Fi access. Food is too good. Non-vegetarian options are available every day except for Thursday and Monday. There is a hospital just 1 km away from our college. A sports complex is there, as is a gym.
Faculty: The teachers were well qualified, really helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is easily understandable and good. The semester exams are conducted in extra examination halls and the standard of the questions is average. The passing percentage is 40% for each subject.
