Overall, the placement is average, but for a fun college life, it's great.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell, and they organize a placement drive twice or thrice a month, almost every week. As per my information, students get placement in those drives, and the most prominent firm I remember is Sony. Overall, the placement is not great, but it is decent.
Infrastructure: The college campus is tiny and has no hostel. However, you can easily get PG around college. The classrooms are just average, not in great condition, but the labs are pretty much good, well-maintained, and air-conditioned. The library is not huge, but it offers most of the course books and is very tidy and well-maintained. The canteen has also improved a lot.
Faculty: The teachers are really good, especially the English Department professors, who are really professional and very well-versed in their subjects. You will really enjoy the way they teach, they teach with so much excitement and detail, and you surely will enjoy it. The course is relevant, I studied English Honours, and now I can say the syllabus they teach is really good. Semester exams are decently tough, but not really tough, you can pass them with flying colors with bare minimum efforts. The exam conduct is also fair.
Other: I graduated in 2024, and of course, there's a lot to improve. Infrastructure being the very first thing, the classroom, fans, desks, and blackboards. The course, I personally believe it is really good. The crowd is wild, you get from various cultures and states, some are rowdy and some very decent, and many are in between. As for fests, whatever the event is, you will enjoy it, and the crowd will make it fun. About the connectivity, it's good. There is a bus stop named after the college itself, and Malviya Nagar metro station is just a 5 minute walking distance.

Strong course, peaceful campus, but weak placements.
Placements: I'm from the 2022-25 batch of B.A. (Hons) English at Shri Aurobindo College. About 15%-20% of students got placed, mostly in content writing, digital marketing, and editing roles. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, and the average is 3 LPA-4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Concentrix recruit. Around 30%-40% of students landed internships through platforms like Internshala and Chegg. Roles include content creators, editorial interns, and academic writers. While placement support is limited, students with initiative can do well.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-maintained with basic facilities like projectors and fans, but Wi-Fi isn't consistently available. The library is well-stocked for English Honours students, though the department lacks any specific lab. There's no hostel in the college, so students stay in PGs or rent nearby. The canteen offers decent food at affordable prices, and there's a small medical room for emergencies. Sports facilities include a ground and a few indoor games, but are not very actively managed. Overall, the infrastructure is average but manageable for day scholars.
Other: I'm from the 2022-25 batch, pursuing B.A. (Hons) English. I chose this course because of my love for literature and writing. The course is affordable, making it a value for money. The best part is the depth of the syllabus and supportive faculty. However, more practical exposure and placement support would make it better. Campus life is chill. Events and fests happen occasionally, but not very grandly. The crowd is mostly decent and focused. Connectivity is great, and the surroundings are peaceful. Extracurricular activities exist, but need more energy and involvement.

A good faculty but not a good crowd.
Placements: After the introduction of the CUET exam, placement percentages vary according to CUET scores. The highest package from our college is 21 LPA, the lowest known package is 3 LPA, and the average is around 7-8 LPA. Approximately 20-30% of students secured internships in foundations, NGOs, and government schemes.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped, with AC and smart screens in labs. Classrooms have standard wooden benches and 3-4 fans each. The library has a limited selection of books, but they are sufficient for college students. There is no WiFi on campus. The canteen atmosphere is a bit dim, but the food quality is decent, especially the samosas.
Faculty: The faculty consists of qualified and knowledgeable teachers, most of whom are PhD scholars. Some teachers are very helpful, while others are less so. The teaching quality is generally good, with teachers adapting their methods to suit students' needs. Semester exams aren’t difficult, and students who attend regularly can score well. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in English. However, it would be great if the course received more recognition and respect, as students from other disciplines sometimes treat it dismissively. The campus crowd can be unwelcoming, especially during elections. There are frequent events and seminars, with some activity happening almost every day.

Worst college for studies, but the environment was good, and the admin and faculty were very rude.
Placements: No placement has ever been offered by my college. They didn't have any placement drives, and the course provided is so minimal that no company is interested in providing jobs. They didn't even have any internships. After college, I faced many issues because they didn't teach any practical skills.
Infrastructure: Its small library had few books, and Wi-Fi was not available for students, and the water dispensers were not hygienic. The canteen is always crowded; they don't even have proper seating. The prices are low, but the food quality is average. The admin staff is the worst.
Faculty: Faculty members are average, and no guidance is ever provided. The teachers are not interested in teaching, and they don't have any knowledge about the subjects. They always ask about personal life and didn't even try to teach the class properly. The core subject teachers at least try, but others are the worst.
Other: Fests are the bare minimum; only small, unknown celebrities are invited.

Good faculty engagement and diverse, quality activities but quite fewer placement opportunities.
Placements: Around 20-30% of students are placed in arts and humanities programs. The highest package was INR 7-8 LPA, the average was INR 2.8-3.5 LPA, and the lowest was around INR 2 LPA. Top recruiters include Chegg, Teach for India, Wipro, EY, and Genpact. Approximately 84 students received internships with companies like Edelman, Talocity, and Genpact. Common roles include content writing, general management, and customer service.
Infrastructure: The college offers well-equipped classrooms, a library, computer labs, Wi-Fi, and recreational areas for arts and humanities students. The college does not provide on-campus hostels; however, nearby accommodations are available, and students have access to a canteen, medical facilities, and extensive sports infrastructure for various games.
Faculty: Teachers are generally knowledgeable, helpful, and well-qualified, with positive reviews on teaching quality. The curriculum is largely theoretical but provides a foundation for understanding that can be applied in an industry setting with additional skills development. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a pass percentage generally over 80%.
