Satisfied with the college, good crowd.
Placements: The Placement Drive was smooth at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College. The placement cell, IGNITE, of our college works effortlessly to reach HR of various companies and is trying its best to increase the placement opportunities for the students. Most of the good companies visited for the students of B.Com (Hons) and B.Com (Prog.).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. All rooms are equipped with air conditioners (ACs). Wi-Fi facility is provided by the college. But for the last month, neither Wi-Fi nor ACs have been working properly. Although our college is the only college with ACs in the classroom, they should work properly.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty of my department and overall of the college are very helpful. They are all well-qualified. Talking about syllabus coverage, in my course, the whole syllabus was completed by the end of the semester. Regular assignments and tests helped a lot.

Pros and cons of North Campus:
Placements: Mostly 30% to 40% of students get placed through our college placement cell. The highest recorded salary is 23 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is around 1 to 1.5 Lacs per annum. The average package offered is 3-4 Lacs per annum. Companies like Infosys, Tata, and occasionally Microsoft and Google hire from our college. 60% of students secure internships in startup companies and some well-known companies. Data science and data analysis are popular career paths.
Infrastructure: Classes are basic and not very well developed. Wi-Fi is available but with inconsistent speed, and the labs have good laptops. Overall, the facilities are average. Hostels are mediocre; meals are sometimes good, sometimes average. There is a nurse in our hostel, but sports and games facilities are lacking.
Faculty: Some teachers are highly skilled, while others are average. Overall, teachers are good and helpful. The emphasis is more on theoretical knowledge; practical implementation is lacking. Semester exams are not very difficult; you can pass with an overall score of 40%.
Other: I am interested in coding, so I chose B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics and B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science. Practical-oriented courses would be preferable. Every year, our college organizes an annual fest that attracts many students. Being in North Campus, the crowd is intellectual, and competition is high. Scholarships are available for underprivileged students. Sports facilities are decent overall.

Reviewing our college with team Shiksha.
Placements: About 5 to 10 percent of students get placements in our college. The highest package offered is INR 10 lacs and the lowest package offered to the students is INR 3 lacs. About 15 to 20 percent of students get internship from our college and many companies like Amazon, PWC, Deloitte visit our college and offer placements to the students .
Infrastructure: Our college has given the facility of air conditioners in our classrooms with a projector in it so that students can study more effectively. The hostel facility is also very nice and the quality of food is very good. The food is very tasty and the food available in the mess and canteen is also very delicious .
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful in making the concepts clear. The teachers are highly qualified, they have done their Ph.D. and the difficulty level to clear the exams is average. If a student studies regularly he or she can easily clear the exams without any difficulty .
Other: I have chosen this course as I have found many opportunities in this course and the best thing about my course is that it gives practical experience of how things are actually done in real life. Events, fest are held regularly and campus crowd is also very nice. Many extracurricular activities are also there in our college and students take part in it and enjoy very much .

It is a paradise on the north campus.
Placements: The overall placements were good. Since the college was mainly commerce-centric, most commerce students in our batch had job offers. It does not mean that other students had fewer opportunities. Several students from our course were also placed.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure was good. Colleges under Delhi University are known to have beautiful campuses. This college also had a good campus. It had a girls' hostel and a boys' hostel, which were allotted to students on the basis of merit. The security of students was also taken very seriously. Labs were provided to practice programming languages.
Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified. Internal exams were conducted on a regular basis so that teachers knew how much effort they needed to put into a student. Vivas and presentations were also conducted on a regular basis.
Other: I had a passion for mathematics. Our college provided me with all the amenities I needed to fulfill my academic needs. Most of the crowd belonged to Sikh community. As they were friendly, I mingled with them instantly.

It has good infrastructure and college life but the placement part is not good.
Placements: There were only 4-5 students who got placed from our course as you need to join the placement cell separately to get placed others didn't join it due to lack of knowledge and known ones. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was close to 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 4LPA. The top recruiters were some famous companies like Byju's, Edutech, DRDO, etc. Around 10% of the students got placed, 3 in Byju's, 1 in Edutech, and 1 in DRDO. As per the top roles, I am not sure about that in other companies but in DRDO the role offered was a research analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is one of the best among all at Delhi University. It's a fully air-conditioned campus with Wi-Fi and other basic amenities. The college has 3 lush green lawns and a massive playground specifically for cricket with floodlights too. The library is the biggest in the whole of Delhi University. The food quality in the hostels is very good. The canteen is also perfect whatever you need is available and the medical facilities are there but nobody ever attends anybody for that, that's a bad thing. For sports and games you get a massive cricket ground and 3 lawn tennis courts, a table tennis hall and a gymnasium.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The teaching quality is also good and every student is attended seperately for doubts. The course curriculum is a bit relevant, but that's for our understanding only as it's a bit outdated. But surely, it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not that difficult if you have studied briefly and have an idea of what the subject wants you to learn you can pass easily. The pass percentage is 33% only.
Other: I opted for this course because it was my strongest subject. The best thing is that you can add a separate subject and it is an elective so you can study an extra subject of your choice. The job readiness could have been better for our course. Events here are enormous be it college fests, NCC fests, mela or fairs, and much more. The college is surrounded by other colleges of DU and the entire campus has a good welcoming vibe in it.
