Very good college if you want to become a professor at DU.
Placements: There is a minimum of 25 percent of students placed in my course. In this college approximately no placements in my course or other courses as well. To my knowledge, the highest package is a maximum of 10 LPA, and the minimum is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, HP, and Boast.
Infrastructure: In my course, the facilities are very good. In college, there is a seminar hall, a library, and Wi-Fi in the library. Classrooms are well-maintained and furnished. There is no hostel in this college, but there is a canteen. In the canteen, the food is also good. Dyal Singh canteen food is very cheap and affordable.
Faculty: In my college, all teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very good. There are regular exams held, that is, mid-semester examination and semester examination. The difficulty level of the semester exam is not very hard. If you studied 4 to 5 hours per day, you can score a very good SGPA and CGPA. All faculty are very supportive and helpful.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in Mathematics, and I want to be a professor or lecturer in Mathematics at Delhi University. This is the very best opportunity for me to get admission in this college. Improvement is that the teacher should not give much time to assignments or projects, but rather to study.

Placements: I have completed my graduation in B.Sc. Maths Honors. One section has around 50-60 students. If we talk about the placement, in my batch, I don't think anyone has been placed.
Infrastructure: College has a wide variety of courses. Dyal Singh College offers the largest number of courses in a particular college in the Delhi University. There is a major con that the college doesn't provide any hostel facility. The college canteen is decent and provides reasonable prices.
Faculty: Teachers of my course are very helpful except for some teachers. Teachers are well qualified. Most of the teachers are from Delhi University itself. If we talk about the difficult level of semester examination, it's not that difficult if you study. The college has a very cooperative faculty. Teachers are very gentle and kind, except for some teachers.
Other: I chose Maths Honors as I am pretty good at Maths in my school time.

College campus, college life, college friends, everything is best.
Placements: Around 30-40% of students are placed, with the highest package being 18 LPA, the lowest 8 LPA, and an average of 10-12 LPA. Many data analytics companies recruit here, and 40% of students get internships. The top roles offered in my course are data analyst and professor, making this a very good option.
Infrastructure: College has everything, Wi-Fi, all types of labs, well-cleaned classrooms, and a huge library in a separate building; although there is no hostel, the canteen offers affordable and tasty food, and there are many places to sit and chill with friends during rest time in the ground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the course is relevant. Exam papers are of a moderate level. Teachers are very qualified, some are from IIT, and some from the same college. The pass percentage is 85%, with approximately all of my friends getting good CGPA, and trust me, you have to.
Other: I was interested in this subject. The course doesn't need any improvisation. There are a lot of events organized in our college. The campus crowd is well-mannered and well-fashioned.

A good college but no hostel.
Placements: Quite a few students got placed but very few applied for it because most students enrolled for master's as most of them have plans for pursuing Ph.D. further, and got into IITs and IIITs. We obviously have aspirants who are preparing for exams like UPSC.
Infrastructure: The entire campus has Wi-Fi. The library and classrooms are also upto mark. We have AC in the library but not in the classroom. Unfortunately, there's no hostel facility provided by the college. You will have to take care of where you have to live. This is the worst part but there are a lot of PGs available in the nearby areas.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. They are well qualified. All have a Ph.D. and have done great research in their fields and also teach very well. The curriculum is very relevant to the course and is very beneficial for life ahead. If we talk about the semester exams, they definitely have a good level you have to study to pass.
Other: The campus is good and is in a very good locality. You will have a lot of things to explore, you won't regret being here.

B.Sc. (Hons. ). Mathematics in Dyal Singh College - worth doing or not
Placements: The placement cell of our college is very active and students of courses like B.Com (Hons) and Economics Hons get good placement offers from several companies including TCS, Wipro, etc. The average package is around 4.5 LPA and the highest this year was 12 LPA. But in terms of Science courses like B.Sc. Hons, Maths, Physics, or Chemistry the placement is not that good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and classrooms are good and well maintained, library, labs, canteen are also good. The best locations in our college are emphi theatre, and red benches because most of the students just do some fun activities there bunk the classes. The hostel is not available in our college and the students have to find Pgs to settle there near the college.
Faculty: The faculty of our department are very qualified and knowledgeable. But some professors are kind of rude and most of them are very friendly. The subjects that we get taught in this course are very helpful for the future. Semester exams of our course are difficult but with good practice, you can get easily passed.
Other: The best thing about our college is that there are always some activities going on whether it's some competition like a boxing competition or a singing or dancing competition, some seminars or some sports.

Overall the college is good. One can opt for it for studies.
Placements: I don't think that in Maths Hons you will think of placements. People do Maths Hons for higher education or some do it so that they can get a degree and give government exams. But some of them get placements as they have prepared for an actuarial science course on the side, so you can pursue Maths Hons if you are willing to do so.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in college are good. Classrooms are ventilated and spacious. Labs are provided and are of good quality with Wi-Fi available and AC labs. The library is huge, and the seating capacity is quite good, with more than sufficient books available. But there is no hostel facility in Dyal Singh College. The canteen food is good. There is a sports room, and there are teachers for sports. Grounds are well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, have great knowledge, and are helpful. You can ask them questions anytime in class or personally. The course curriculum is totally based on the syllabus, and no other useless topics are taught. Semester exams are not so difficult; one can easily pass the exams. The pass percentage is almost 100.
Other: I chose this course because I had a keen interest in mathematics. The best thing about mathematics is you get a challenge in solving the problems. Connectivity of the college is good as there is JLN metro station nearby. The campus is well maintained with lots of greenery. Scholarships are provided by the college, and fee concessions are also available.

Highly qualified professors, if you are a studious guy you will love this college and library.
Placements: Around 50 per cent of the students got placed in the campus Top recruiting companies are technology companies, banks and small startups. The top roles which are offered in my course are class representative, social media manager and website manager, many internships are also provided.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, not so good and not so bad but average classes have fans, average table chairs to sit, blackboards are there, projectors are there in every class, hostel is not there in our college which is a drawback. There is no proper place for every sport only some sports are there.
Faculty: The faculty is amazing, highly qualified teachers and professors are there in every course, our teachers are highly educated and qualified. Many of them have doctorate degrees in their respective field. The curriculum is based on the new education policy and it is run smoothly. Exams are conducted semester-wise in May-June and then in December and January.

Overall a good college to choose, The great faculty Affiliated to great university.
Placements: I am from Batch 2024, and it was an experience from my side to join this college. 40 students were placed. The strength of my course was around 150 people. And the highest and lowest package that was offered in our college was so good, like for the maximum package, a student got a 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: My college has a very good infrastructure. In the library, there are all kinds of facilities, like AC and all course books, along with daily newspapers. Books can be issued for 15 days, and with a seating capacity of 150 students, it has a very good auditorium.
Faculty: My course has many excellent teachers. Our course has 50 teachers, and the semester exams are of a good level—not so hard but not so easy. If you study 3 hours daily, you will get a 7 CGPA without a doubt. The course that we have is very relevant for post-graduation exams.
Other: Well, in this case, we need to prepare for the UPSC, and the syllabus of this college aligns closely with the UPSC course. The festival is of top quality, but sometimes a few quarrels take place between students. Our college has an annual festival, and besides that, we have a wise festival as well.
