Worth to join in this college.
Placements: No placements yet for the food technology, we are the 2nd batch of this course in our college. But not many food companies visit our college. Students are looking for internships too. But, the food technology students have many scopes in the future, so no need to worry.
Infrastructure: The canteen and hostel are average but it is worth of cost. The cricket ground is also there. Hostelers may play in the evening time, there is a separate hostel for boys and girls with security. They serve both non-veg and veg. Good labs are available, but there is no- wife on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are good no doubt in it, they have well knowledge, they behave like our friends, so no need to fear in asking doubts. Once a month, they conduct an industrial visit also. They teach us in a very interacting way.
Other: I chose B.Tech food technology because there are good job opportunities than other undergraduate courses and it is better than others too.

Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
