College Life at Sri shakthi.
Placements: Our college do bring many companies to the campus. The placement cell faculty members are great in their effort to make their student got placed. The placement training is really good. The top companies visited our campus are Broadsoft, Sirius, GyanMatrix, Virtusa polaris, Rovicorp (telephone interview), etc. Comparing to our senior batch we have more opportunities as many companies visited our campus. Mostly 70-80 % are placed but after going to internship some of them have returned and some quit their offers. But all have given many opportunities for placement. The highest salary is 27L per annum but the boy is currently doing internship in Chennai with a stipend of 30000per month based on internship performance offer will be given. Mostly IT companies only visited our campus so only the IT, CSE and ECE students have been placed majorly. The other departments like civil, Aeronautical, Mechanical, EEE are not mostly enrolled for placement and the students who are enrolled are placed for marketing and HR roles not on their core. The CS IT and ECE were mostly placed in IT companies for the role of testing, developer, etc. The average CTC of all students is nearly 3 L per annum. Mostly 50-60% of placed students went internship. Some have given stipend and some have done internship without any stipend. The highest stipend offered is 30000 which is Amazon.
Infrastructure: We have an okay infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available in all over the campus everyone have individual logins, Labs are also good we have all facilities according to the syllabus. Every Classroom have projector with speaker. Our library is air-conditioned with decent number of books. The quality of food is fully based on the dedication of the cook. If taste is not good in our hostel mess, our management says we provide all needs to the food we are buying only good products and that is also true only. The food is not bad actually. Our college mess offers decent food. The lunch is really awesome and everyday we have thick curd and not the buttermilk that is really appreciable. The hostel rooms are also okay we have individual beds and steel cupboard and common bathrooms in every floor. The bathrooms are cleaned everyday. And we have a tiny canteen too which is managed by grace and bakes. The medical facilities are not available only first aid kit is available in the college. And in sports and games we have a very nice cricket ground which was inaugurated by Ravichandran Ashwin. And a great tennis court which was inaugurated by Sania Mirza. Only the football ground is not properly available. Yes they do provide support for games.
Faculty: Not really all teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Mostly the teachers are freshers, who just completed M.E and some of them have completed M.E in our college and joined as faculty in our college itself. Some teachers are not working with dedication though it will be same in every college. They use PPT in the classroom that is the only study method. Don't have clear idea to picturize student to faculty ratio but we have enough faculty members. No industry exposure is provided we have only the old syllabus. The course curriculum is set by Anna university so its not nice to complain about the college. It will be same everywhere.

This is one of the best colleges in Coimbatore.
Placements: Our batch secured 100% placement as every other batch. It combined with the recruitment drives organised for the college alone and even pooled campus. It offered a lot of opportunities from the market side for one to get a kick start for his/her career. One of the best college in this city regarding the placements for sure.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure has been developing since day one of its functioning. It offers the hostel facilities separate for boys and girls with decent lodging and food facilities. The Wi-Fi availability is one of the major perks at the hostel. The labs, medical facilities, sports and games all up to the mark as expected. The college even has one of the most well-maintained cricket ground in the city.
Faculty: The college holds on to well-maintained disciplines. There is zero ragging, which is the mandatory code of conduct. The faculty members at any level of the hierarchy are accessible in the college. The teaching methods include the old way from board and chalk to the digital presentations. The college makes sure that the students get in touch with a lot of industry personnel to get knowledge about the industry through the various seminars, professional talk sessions, industrial visits, and symposiums. The college is even expanding the number of courses as it offers every year.
Other: Thee department fests and the overall college fests are organised throughout the year. The campus crowd consists of people belonging to Kongu and the nearby regions. The college is located at L&T by-pass, which can be reached from Coimbatore Avinashi road in 10 minds. The public bus services were not available then, but now buses connect to the city roads. Though, the college provides the bus services to most of the places in and around the city. The college does offer the scholarships to the top performers.
