Satisfied by faculty placements are okay below avarage hostel facility good college infrastructure .
Placements: Placements are quite good here. The average package is 5 LPA, and the highest went to 44 LPA last year. Students are divided into categories based on their attendance and placement test scores: CAT 1 is eligible for 10 LPA+ companies, CAT 2 for 5 to 10 LPA, and CAT 3 is below 5 LPA. This year, from our branch, 1 student was selected for a South African-based cybersecurity company for 12 LPA, and another is in Oracle for 9.5 LPA. Placements are still ongoing.
Infrastructure: Our college has AC rooms, good infrastructure, well-equipped labs, and a library and reading room, but the library and reading room are accessible only until 5:30 PM. The college has 3 hostels, but none of them have mess facilities, and they are increasing hostel charges every year.
Faculty: Faculty is supportive and understanding, at least for our department. Since we are the first batch of Cyber Security, they are still experimenting with the curriculum and syllabus. There are 3 in-semester exams and 1 end-semester exam per semester; they are easy. You can get good marks by preparing one night before the exam.

Honest review on Thakur College Of Engineering Kandivali.
Placements: For campus placements, students are divided into 3 categories based on their average points and attendance, and according to that, placement interviews are given. Maximum students from Thakur College opt for higher studies, and out of 100 students, nearly 30–40 are placed. The highest package is said to be 45 lakhs, and the average package is 3–4 lakhs. The college provides online internship opportunities every semester. For offline internships, multiple opportunities are given. In my course, it's the cybersecurity branch and it's a new branch, hence, the first batch has not passed out yet, so its placement records are not even yet declared.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are commendable, which includes a well-defined library, AC classrooms, labs with updated Windows and software, and Ethernet access. College hostels are provided with AC and non-AC rooms with excellent food quality. Medical facilities in the college include a sick room where students can rest and doctors are also there to help them. For sports and games, there is a B.M.C. field.
Faculty: Thakur College is autonomous, hence, it provides an updated curriculum every year. Teachers are helpful and qualified, but teaching quality depends on nearly 4–5 teachers. Teaching styles are different so the students don't get them. Course curricula are designed to be industry-ready, but in the first year, they taught us physics, chemistry, and math. In our second year, they teach us the basics of computers, like computer networks, DSA, and other things.
Other: I opted for the cybersecurity branch, considering it was a new branch. I was excited and the cybersecurity branch looked fascinating. I am in the second batch of this branch, and no other branch has passed till now. In my course, I thought they would teach about cybersecurity, but in my first year, it was all about physics, chemistry, and math. I had no technical knowledge. In the 2nd year, DSA and other subjects are there but anything related to cybersecurity is not provided.

Life at the Thakur College of Engineering.
Placements: The placements are not that great, and the highest package of the last time was about 15 Lacs, the lowest package was about 4 Lacs, and the median package was between 5 and 6 Lacs per annum. There are placements offered by the company, but only 40-50 percent were placed, and most of them were off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There is availability of AC rooms in every class, and even in the Library and Reading Room. There are Ethernet connections and AC availability. The college canteen food is also very good, and there are separate rooms for Girls and Boys in the Play Area.
Faculty: The curriculum is very relatable for students opting for internships or for the industry. The teachers are highly qualified; some of them are from IIT. Semester Exams are not that tough and very reliable. Just prepare their own PPT for the explanation of each chapter.
Other: The College is not that good, and there are also no sports facilities in this College.

Applied for becoming a university.
Placements: 70% students got placed in 2023-24. JP MORGAN is the company offering the highest package. Average package is generally between 6-7 LPA. From the seventh semester, the students apply for placements in on and off-campus recruitments and internships. The highest package from the batch of 2023-24 was 44 LPA (off-campus) with an average of 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too good. There are many labs and committees including Technical clubs, Tcap, and ISTE which comes under TSDW. There are so many fests and activities conducted during the semesters.
Faculty: The college conducts 2 ISE (mid sem) of 20 marks each followed by the End Semester exams. Presentation is also a part of the curriculum. The faculty is good. The reason behind choosing this branch is that it includes DSA with ethical hacking and networking. The class size is that of 60 students. The curriculum is well updated.

Our college has great infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: As we're the first batch of this branch and still in our second year, we haven't experienced any placements for now. In other branches, the placement rate is approximately 80%. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Accenture, etc. You can get an information security analyst role. The college provides internships in the third year, so we're still waiting for that.
Infrastructure: There's Wi-Fi in the reading room and seminar halls. Washrooms are clean and hygienic. Canteens are great. Hostels are expensive here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They teach very well. They even change your syllabus according to industrial needs. If you pay attention in class, it's easy to get good marks. You get enough time for yourself to do extra studies and make projects.
Other: I chose this course because I am curious about the hacking field. If we can get more hands-on practices, we'll perform well. Events at our college are great. They conduct seminars every week where they invite industrial experts and working professionals who provide us with information about upcoming trends.
