Review of Swami Shraddhanand College, University of Delhi.
Placements: There are only 22 students in our course at our college. There are no such offers provided in our course. Around 10 students get internships. A Black Kite Project internship was also provided before the four-month mark.
Infrastructure: There are all the amenities that a college student requires. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college. Our labs and library are good. Sometimes, the network does not work properly. Our labs are in good condition, with all necessary equipment readily available. Classrooms are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and they can easily accommodate around 70 students. The library is well maintained. All useful and needed books are available. The quality of the food is good. Many fast food items are available in around 10 varieties.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are Ph.D. holders. They are highly knowledgeable in their fields. You can become a professor or scientist or researcher. The semester exams are average. The board-level exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the lives of animals and their physiological functions. The best thing about the course is that it is semester-based with a different syllabus for each semester. This allows you to study a variety of subjects in a year. The course is very good. There is nothing to improve or change about it. Many events are organised by various societies at our college, including music, the arts, sports, creativity, and so on. Many games and events are organised by societies during the festival. The festival is held every year for three days but is often shortened to one day.

Satisfied with the Professors, Society time was absolutely the best, Average infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of Placements is below average as very less (rarely) percentage of the student body gets Placements. Percentage <5-10 Though the percentage of internships are fair. You can get internships from either attending college seminars, society or departmental levels or your personal approach.
Infrastructure: There are two campuses called Old and new campus, supporting programme and Hons courses respectively. Labs are maintained, spacious enough and have required equipments. Wi-Fi is unavailable except computer labs. Classrooms are big and enough seats to support student body. There are no hostels, you have to rent a PG for accommodation.
Faculty: The Teachers are very supportive and knowledgeable. Since most of them are Ph.D. and Masters of their courses. They provide an exclusive teaching environment. This course is one of the old courses that are not in trend but establishes a basic level learning. I would suggest to opt for more professional courses. Semester exams are average and above. (thrilling) The percentage to pass the exams are 40%.
Other: I chose this course because of my personal in human and animal Biology. This course helps to learn more about stuff that is not MBBS or medical Science related, more about what surrounds us. Improvements can be made to increase the Placements and employment. The name of the fest is SHRADDHA TARANG, various activities, events and competitions are organised by college societies. Football, NCC and cricket sports are there. Scholarship on Sports quota, ST, SC, EWS, etc. And also on regional levels.

Swami shraddhanand college is a part of the University of Delhi established in 1967.
Placements: per cent of students got a place but not good offers and final-year students eligible for internships was 10%. The package is not too good. I don't know much about company hiring but yes there is a lot of company visit to our college. Compare to other du colleges our college is much better in some activities.
Infrastructure: The labs are good and the library is nice too. Sport faculty is good and the lab staff are good. The hostel is not available in our college. Wi-Fi is not working. The canteen is not bad but the infrastructure of our college is not so good but fantastic because it has two buildings.
Faculty: Awesome teachers and their guidance just make the best students' life easier. 35%of passing in the theory exam. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Education with some specific course like History department is in top 10. If you consider in basics of college e.g extracurricular activities and education.
Other: This course is a really enjoyable subject and informative. I would like to recommend this subject to choose if you want to explore animals and humans.

Our college has good faculty members and a good environment but lacks placements.
Placements: Placements were not good. There were no recruiters.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were huge and well-maintained. The infrastructure was well-designed. Labs were in good condition with good equipment. The ground was big. Wi-Fi was very weak. It provided a proper space for playing sports and conducting various extracurricular activities as well.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and very hardworking. They deserve to be where they are. I never thought a government professor would be that dedicated. Exams were conducted on time. Results were also announced on time.
Other: It had value for money. The fee was affordable.

The college is excellent for science courses and has a new building.
Placements: In our college, almost 20% of students were placed. Most students opted for higher studies. Different pharmaceutical companies recruited students from the chemistry and biology departments. Internship facilities were good and enriching. If you are looking for placements then this college or any degree college at Delhi University would meet your expectations.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and library facilities were top-notch. One of the best laboratories with ample equipment was available. No dedicated hostels were available, but several PGs were located within walking distance. Classrooms were spacious and clean. The new building for the college had the best and latest infrastructure. A large playground and amphitheater were excellent.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified. They were talented and had an excellent way of teaching. They were mostly well-known researchers and authors in their fields. The course curriculum was relevant. It made every student fairly ready for higher studies and gave them confidence in their subject. Many students got relevant jobs. Semester exams were moderate to very difficult.
Other: I had an interest in zoology and wanted to study at Delhi University. The best part of the course was the lab work, which was theoretically sound in a fundamental science subject. The college had the best faculty members, a great lab, talented fellow students, and a very nominal fee so it's a good choice. Projects and assignments could be upgraded as per modern requirements. Cultural events were excellent. The campus crowd had a bit of Haryanvi influence, but it was very lively. The nearest metro was Jahangirpuri.

Our college is the best in all aspects.
Placements: Our college provided only a few placements for B.sc, so many students were preparing for competitive exams like UPSC, NDA, CDS, CAT, etc. Only a few companies visited our college and offered internships. Companies had not visited our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Our new classrooms were well-equipped with all the latest facilities. There were four zoology labs with about 8-10 lab staff members. Every lab was well-equipped with all modern instrumentation which needs for any practical prescribed in the syllabus. Our library had enough copies of every book with all Hindi and English newspapers and magazines.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful. They taught us well. They conducted orientation classes. In the B.Sc. course, 50% of marks were provided by the subject teacher in each paper. Semester exams were for 50%. Our college evaluated our 50% marks by internal, theory, and practical. The university evaluated our 50% marks through semester exams. The lab staff members were very cooperative. They allowed us to perform practicals multiple times until we got the desired result.
Other: Our college is not much famous as the North campus colleges of DU due to its location. Our college is very good in terms of infrastructure, faculty members, and labs compared to other colleges.

Our college's new building and science courses are good.
Placements: Placements were not good in our college. Only a few students got placed in our course. Many students opted for higher studies and competitive exams. The internship facilities were good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college's new building is good. Our labs are well-equipped and well-maintained. Chemistry and biology labs have all equipment. The library is very good, and it has a great ambiance for study. Hostels are not available in our college, but budget-friendly and good PGs are much in number within the walking distance. Our campus is the biggest Delhi University campus. The old building is a bit old-fashioned where the B.A. and B.Com program classes are organised in general.
Faculty: Exams were time bound and very well-designed. The zoology department has the best faculty members. Most professors had vast experience in research and they were well-known published authors. Teachers and lab staffs were very professional. They helped us to clear the basics very well. The permanent faculty members were one of the best in the country. Our college made us very confident in our subjects. Students became good teachers and got jobs in relevant industries. The pass percentage was good and based on the performances. Most DU students were good in academics and did not face many problems.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to keep zoology as my optional subject and to build good knowledge from the best university. The course curriculum is very well-designed and followed subject-choosing flexibility even before the new education policy, but assignments and projects are designed in an old-fashioned manner. It can be modernised as per contempt demands and can be made more interesting. Cultural events take place throughout the year, and all societies perform well. Our college has a bit of Haryanvi influence as the Singh border is not so far from the campus. The main fest is grand and cheerful. The connectivity is not so good for Delhi students as the nearest metro station is Jahangirpuri which is almost 7-8 km away from the campus. Our college builds confidence in subjects and provides a Delhi University degree which has decent value in the job market for fresh graduates.

I am totally satisfied with taking admission to this college.
Placements: My batch started during the pandemic. I don't regret it because the teachers of my course are awesome, and I really like my course and teachers too. There are placements available for final-year students in the university.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. But the campus is quite small compared to other colleges. The confusing part is that the college building is hexagonal, so you might get lost in the initial days in college. There is no hostel which is the sad part.
Faculty: The faculty are very much concerned about students. They are very well qualified in their respective subjects. They are very good at teaching. They are always punctual and eager to clarify students' doubts during college hours. Semester exams are a bit tough, but with a little hard work, we can pass the exams with good grades.
Other: The best thing about the college is they pay more importance to practical knowledge. Hence, there are more practical classes, and I like it.
