This college has average placements for 2019. It provides good infrastructure, facilities, and teach

Placements: Almost 10% of students are placed in our seniors batch. The highest salary package offered by one topper is Rs 35,000 per month. Amazon, Ranbaxy, and Cipla are some of the top recruiting companies. Almost 60% of students got internships from the B.Sc honors zoology course. Again Cipla, national zoological department, and pharmaceutical companies are the main sites for internships. Our course is B.Sc honors. Zoology is a wide-ranging course to study animal anatomy, origin their morphology, behavioral studies, chronobiology, etc. Human physiology and modern science like biochemistry, biotech, genetics, molecular biology, etc. So, students have much more options for both conversational science carriers to modern and applied science.

Infrastructure: This college has well-maintained laboratories as well as a zoological museum, and all are well-equipped. The laboratory staff is also very good and cooperative. Free Wi-Fi facility is available in the laboratory as well as classrooms. The library has an ocean of books, and has a very calming environment, but it is suffocating. Because there is no proper ventilation in the study lobby area, otherwise everything is good. Hostel facility is not available in this college. But it is constructing, and will be ready till next year.

Faculty: All the teachers are well educated and student-friendly. They are very helpful and cooperative. They teach very well, and all of them tries their best for not even academic, but the overall development of students. The curriculum is relevant. It leads to a broad range of career options including conventional science carriers as well as modern and applied science carriers. The exams are not so tough, average Delhi university exam level, students can pass easily if they have built their concepts. Almost every student got passed except 2-3 students on an average, and 97% is the passing percentage.

Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in animals since childhood. I wanted to make my passion into a profession. Our course includes both conversational biology as well as modern and applied biology which makes it more interesting. It is more practical based subjects, so students have to make a lot of files, etc. There are many workshops and seminars are organised by our department. There are one departmental fest and one college youth fest. The campus crowd is average. Connectivity is good both metro and bus. The campus surroundings are good, there is a lake in front of the college. Many scholarships are available for meritorious or needy students.

I am highly satisfied with my experience, and the locality is excellent.

Placements: Placements are not available for undergraduate zoology students. So no companies come to give placements to zoology students. Since this course has very few options for jobs, students need to do masters to get placed in any company.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise our college is very well-developed. Labs are spacious, and the staff members are also very helpful. The college is lush green, and you can get several beautiful spots to take pictures. Medical facilities are excellent, and the canteen food is good. Our college has very good sports teachers. Students are encouraged to opt for any sports to play during the sports period.

Faculty: Faculty members are very well-educated and experienced. Teachers are cooperative with students. The course is completed on time, and the campus is ragging free. There are several societies that students can join. Extracurricular activities are also encouraged. Internal assessment marks are based upon a test of 50 marks and also the assignment. So the total out of 25 marks is given.

Other: Fests are the highlights. Other than that, departmental functions and many seminars are organised. Students get ample opportunities to participate in various programmes.
