It's a third-tier college, but with excellent faculty (for Physics at least).

Placements: Swami Shraddhanand College does not provide any placement, but the University of Delhi often organizes placement events and internship programs. A fair number of students get placed through it, with an average package. The college faculty, mainly comprised of scientists, is focused on research work, with some alumni also finding placements abroad, based purely on their talent.

Infrastructure: Limited Wi-Fi is available for students. Labs are fairly maintained, with some being outdated and needing faculty attention. The library is well-maintained with ample numbers of books. The condition of classrooms is not up to the mark, and there are no air conditioning systems provided.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful, especially for science students. They encourage students to participate in research practices more and more. Doubts are taken without any questions, and they are very encouraging and inspiring. Almost all the faculty are doctorates or doctorate students.

I do not recommend students to take admission to this college.

Placements: Fewer placements are provided to students. Most of the students are pursuing M.Sc. at IITs. Companies don't visit our college to offer placements. Students try to get placements off-campus. Some students got internships at airports.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good. Wi-Fi speed is good and impressive. The quality of the lab equipment is very good. Our college has a huge two-floored library. Hostel facility is not provided in our college so students have to stay in PGs.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and well-educated. Teaching quality is very good. There are projectors for PPTs in every lab and classroom. Semester exams are not tough. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course to make my career in it. Fests organised in our college are below average.

Totally satisfied because of the NCC and the teaching staff .

Placements: There are many students who got into IIT for their Masters after completing their B.Sc. with honours at this college. This college has the facility to join NCC in three wings, 1. NCC naval wing; 2. NCC army wing; 3. NCC girls battalion. Many students got jobs after completing their NCC. There is no facility for housing in college. There is a very large field for cricket.

Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi facilities. Our college has well-structured labs. Our college has a big classroom with a very big green board and a projector. Our college has a very big library with more than 11,000 books. Hostel facilities are not available in our college.

Faculty: There are very educated teachers. Sometimes we study their own written books. Their teaching quality is very good. Teachers make their students ready not only for semester exams but also for their JEE exams. Semester exams are not very difficult. 45% is enough to pass the exams.

Other: I chose this course because it appeals to me the most. The lab experience is best for me. I love to do experiments in my lab. College Fest should be improved. There is a very low budget for it.

Review of Swami Shraddhanand College.

Placements: Around 20% of placements are provided. One of our seniors is working for NASA. Internships are provided by reputed companies and universities. Our college trains students, from study to personality development.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection is very good in the Physics lab, and the lab is spacious. The library is provided with a good collection of books. Hostel facilities are not available. Ample PGs are available near the college. Food quality varies in the mess. The canteen is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very good, understanding, caring, supportive, well qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exam papers are set by University of Delhi, which is easy for those who study. All the students pass the exams with flying colors.

Other: Our college is on the outskirts of Delhi away from the city. Our campus is lush green.

This college is the best in sports in entire Delhi University.

Placements: Placements of this college are very great and is good than other popular colleges. The placement department is also good and helpful to many students to grab the best opportunity and secure their future. It is a great college with good placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our college has no hostel itself but there are nearby good PGs available. If you want to stay there, I think you won't get any problems as there are many students from outside Delhi. Our college also provides a secure facility for those students.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and the administration group is very cooperative and helpful with students. You won't find any problems in exams. As we know that Delhi University colleges have the same exams so it's not too difficult. You have to study a little. The pass percentage is good.

Other: I chose this course because I like physics. This college comes under Delhi University and its campus area is also good.

Our college provides good faculty members, infrastructure, and well-maintained building.

Placements: Many students from our batch got placed from college. Our college doesn't provide proper internship programs. Not many companies approach to the college. A few percent of students were placed from the college but most of them were placed on their own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the entire college was good, and labs were well maintained. There was a proper Wi-Fi service provided. Almost all the necessary books were present in the library for the related subjects. The library staff was quite helpful, and the canteen was available but not that many food items were served. Different types of sports were organised by the college regularly.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college were qualified and knowledgeable. Top-quality education was provided by them. They were always available for their students, even extra time was given by teachers if students demanded the same. All the syllabus was completed on time and extra notes were also provided by teachers.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in physics from the 12th class. I found it more practical. Everything we see around us is from physics, and this made me curious about the subject and you can know how things work practically. Every year fest and sports events were also organised by the college.

Fine college for studies. Don't expect direct placements.

Placements: No placement companies come to hire the graduates. To get placed you have to prepare for exams like GATE and jam. So graduates are rarely recruited just after B.Sc. degree. A few of them did an internship in different firms but the number is quite insignificant.

Infrastructure: College building is nice. Better than most of the DU colleges. But canteen facilities are poor. Labs are finely equipped. Classrooms are cleaned but benches there are quite old. Sports facilities are there. Our college is known for its cricket team. Wi-Fi is available through Jio fibre. But quality is compromised.

Faculty: Most of the faculties are qualified. But professors' attitude towards teaching is their personal choice. Many of them are hardworking but some of them are also not that good. Some are helpful and some are not. Although the environment is quite conducive for studies.

I am quite satisfied with this college. It should provide more seminars and interactive sessions.

Placements: The college provides all academic courses which do not provide a lot of scope for a job after a bachelor course. But it provides a wide scope for post-graduation in technical degrees from many renowned institutes and universities like DU, BHU, IITs, NITs, etc.

Infrastructure: The college provides two classrooms and 3 laboratories in our course. Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus. The library is the best as it is mostly silent and you will get all the books you want. Canteen and playgrounds are very good. The college does not provide hostel facility for the students.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very cooperative and friendly. They are always willing to help us. They are highly knowledgeable and have lots of paper published under their name. The course curriculum does not make the students industry-ready, as it is an academic course. Academic courses prepare you for academics, but for jobs, you must have at least a masters degree.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like Physics. The best thing about this course is that you will learn why things happen and not only at large scale but also at the small scale. The best part of our course is quantum physics and quantum mechanics. It would be better if the college provides more seminars on different topics which provide a platform for interaction with scientists who are working in this field. Otherwise, everything is good. College provides a lot of opportunities in sports as well. Fests organised at our college are awesome.
