It is an amazing college at scenic location with great people to interact & good and helpful staff.

Placements: Placements were good at our college, with around 50%-60% of students being placed. Companies from all over India and abroad have tie-ups with the college. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was3 LPA. Companies like Godrej and others selected students. Roles offered were primarily related to engineering.

Infrastructure: Library was well-equipped with plenty of books and research papers to enhance our knowledge. Wi-Fi was provided through our IDs, and there was a time limit to its usage. Classrooms were large and spacious, benches were also big. There is a mess and a canteen that provide food at their respective rates. Hostel accommodation was also offered.

Faculty: Faculty members were highly skilled and talented, with a strong industry background. Hands-on teaching experience that emphasized practical applications. There are two exams in every semester. Course is relevant to industry needs, and the pass percentage is above 90%.

Other: I chose this course because of my family's business in the same field. There were many campus fests and other events held at the college.

Our college has a good campus and good placements. It has value for money.

Placements: The placement rate is very high. It is almost 100%. Companies come here every day with good salary packages. It has a placement cell. It helps us to get placements easily. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA, and the lowest is around 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel is very good. There is Wi-Fi in both the hostel and the college. Smart classrooms are available. The library is open until 5 PM. The hostel food is very good. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items are served. Sports facilities are excellent.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and helpful. They teach well. All faculty members are experienced and good. Internal and external exams are conducted. There are weekly tests to improve our progress and knowledge. The teaching quality is very good.

A good faculty and infrastructure helps in development and nourishment of students.

Placements: 95% of the students get placed here. The highest package of CS branch was approximately 43 Lacs and she was placed in Zomato. The median package here is somewhat about 5-12 LPA. 80% of students studying in SIT has an internship .

Infrastructure: The mess food is bearable. Now coming to the hostel you get a three sharing room with 3 single beds 3 cupboards and tables and chairs for all 3. There are attached toilets and bathrooms. Please note that the boys will only be getting a hostel for 2 years only in their 4 years span, whereas girls get the hostel for all 4 years. There is a nearby hospital named SUHRC. The gate closing time for the hostel is 10:30 pm.

Faculty: The faculty here is highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable. Each of the faculty is pursing Ph.D. or Masters in their own field. The course curriculum is very much relevant to meet the industry standards of the society. The passing percentage here is 95%. .

Other: I wanted to pursue UPSC exam so choose this branch. Okay so considering the connectivity the college is in the outskirts of Pune city. There are bus facility near SUHRC. Uber and Ola here can be a bit pricey .

Symbiosis- Good college for research purposes and funding.

Placements: Placement is not good for core Civil branch placement. The placement for other branches is really good for companies like Microsoft, Google, etc. Comes for the placement. We can say 100% placement for other branches. The college is more focused on entrepreneurship for the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, the best part is the environment of the college is awesome. The hostel life is great. The labs in the college are fully equipped. The Civil Engineering Department labs have all the advanced equipment and we can also put requirements for the required equipment which you don't find in the college.

Faculty: Talking about the course and syllabus of the Civil Department, the syllabus is different from other colleges. The syllabus has all the in-demand subjects of the future in the Civil Engineering field. The syllabus is much more focused on the enhancement of practical knowledge of an individual, not just the bookish knowledge. The support from teachers is great and helps the students if they have any good ideas for the research purposes. The funding from SIU has always helped me to enhance my research ideas, also some of my research has been published which was guided by Civil Department teachers. Moreover, the summer and winter internship provided by the Civil Department is a positive point.

Other: The Civil Engineering Department also has a technical club TTC- Anchorage in which the student is focused on weekly discussion on emerging Civil Engineering topics. The team of students also participates in The International Concrete Canoe Competition by ASCE which is a dream for any Civil Engineering student. In the year 2022, the team Anchorage achieved the second rank all over India in the very first attempt. The college also has an ASCE students chapter and ICI students chapter under the umbrella of CESS. CESS which is the Civil Engineering students society is focused on the overall development of the students.

The college only lacks knowledge that should be given in the engineering college.

Placements: I belong to civil engineering. Honestly speaking, there are no good placements in civil. Not even a single company belonging to civil came here for placements. There are placements for civil students, but it is not related to civil. The companies like Amazon and Google came to the college, where students of every branch could apply and stand a chance to get placed. Students from my batch got placed in Amazon with a package of 4 LPA. They do provide internships in good companies, and some students got internships in Pune Metro and L&T Constructions. There are no companies related to my field. I passed out in 2020, and still, I have some contacts in college from which I still hear the same that there are no companies coming to recruit civil students. The college is too expensive and not good for middle-class families.

Infrastructure: You can get all the facilities from the college. The infrastructure is good, and the location of the college is very good. There are very nice and clean hostels for both boys and girls. Food in the mess is really good, and you will enjoy every meal of the day. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. The college canteen is good, and you will get everything. Medical facilities are helpful. They give 40% discount for students, in the hospital outside the campus. It is 100% free in the college hospital. There is a good and big enough playground available with all the sports you want to play.

Faculty: I think teachers could be more knowledgeable, especially in the civil branch. They are helpful but wouldn't provide the kind of knowledge students need these days. Labs are really good, and you will get to learn many software. It does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough, and you need to study hard to pass the exams.

Other: The best thing about civil engineering in the college is you can get knowledge of using the equipment. The only thing I wish to improve is the teaching quality. They should provide practical knowledge. Many events and fests are organised in the college. You will love it. Students organise the fests, so you can learn management also.
