Placements: Placement department keeps supporting the students to attend the placement drive from Sem-7 100% students are placed if they don't have any Backlogs. The highest package is 6-7L/A the lowest package is 2.5-3L/A Sutherland and Hexaware are the top recruiting companies From Sem-7 students are encouraged to attend the placement drive. 75% students got internship opportunity in Retech, GP Teach solution.

Infrastructure: All the facilities such an sufficient classrooms along with benches are available. Free Wi-Fi for each floor Each department has their own Department library Central library common for all the students from all Departments. Separate hostel for Boys and Girls with Mess facility and medical care for students inside the hostel. Sports department is responsible for sports events and equipments. Games such as Carrom, Chess, Table tennis, Kho, cricket, kabbadi, Volleyball, football, basketball, badminton.

Faculty: Well trained and experienced faculty members for all the department. Faculty are very helpful and shares their extra knowledge with us other than syllabus. The teaching quality is excellent with PPT presentation and notes for each chapters. The course curriculum is based on Anna University syllabus. It partially makes students prepared for industry with basic knowledge about their course and field of interest. Semester examination are moderate but its quite easy if we are well prepared for the examination.

Other: CSE is one of the most required and booming course in IT Sector with Web development role. The college must improve the cafeteria and washrooms facilities. Events such as symposium, cultural, pongal celebration, sports day, college day every year for both students and faculty. Extracurricular activities in sports department for sports games. First graduate scholarship for students from all departments.

Good faculty, but infrastructure and placements can be improved.

Placements: In this college, 56% students get placements in our course. Our college provides multiple placements to the students. The average package offered in our course was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our college are Deloitte, TCS, and Wipro.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course in this college was good. The college offers many facilities to the students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, and spacious canteens are available. The quality of food in our hostel is very nice. There are good medical facilities and sports games provided in our college.

Faculty: The placements scenario is not very impressive, especially the core placements. Only a few IT companies visit our college. The salary packages offered are around 2.5 LPA-3.2 LPA. TCS and Wipro are the top recruiting companies. We have to find internships on our own.

Other: Around 80% of the students are placed in their domains and others respectively. The packages vary from 20k to 30k per month.

It is a decent college having a good campus and placements.

Placements: More than 80% of our seniors are placed. There are many useful placement companies visiting to offer jobs in our college. They have so many individuals programs and events being conducted. There are many of the students who are placed in many good and well structured jobs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good in our college and the hostels. Hostel food is good. The college has 1 or 2 canteens. Canteen food and the drinks are good in our college. The course is very useful to gain the academic level knowledge.

Faculty: Faculty members are well knowledgeable. The college has very talented faculty members. There are several departments in the college having lots IV and workshops along with many labs in the college. There is a lot of knowledge you will experience in the college. They have lots of funds in the college.

Other: All good in our college.

Good place to experience college life.

Placements: Placements in Tagore College are very decent. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Everyone will get a placement if they have computer language and programming skills other than just a college degree. They will give you internships training.

Infrastructure: The Infrastructure in this college is quite good including Wi-Fi connection and lab facility. There is also a main library along with departmental libraries for each department. We celebrate the sports day every year.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are literally good. They are very kind and good at teaching, they will clear all the doubts and are very supportive. There is no doubt as a student the semester days were tough, but if you work hard, you can get a good percentage. Our class has 75% passing percentage.

Other: I chose engineering in Computer Science but in school I had my major as bio-maths. I had the biggest fear of choosing CSE in the college but the faculty guided you and teaches you from the basics itself.

Reviewing Tagore Engineering College.

Placements: 80 percent students get placements in this college. The highest package offered was 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include CTS, TCS, HCL, ITC, Palle Technologies, Focus Edumatics, Sopra Steria, Zuppa, and Hexaware. Most of the students get internships in their 5th semester and get placed in their final year.

Infrastructure: We don't have Wi-Fi access but the computers have an internet connection. The classrooms can be better and the library is okay. Hostel food and accommodation aren’t that good. Air conditioners aren’t available in the college or the hostel. Due to lack of ventilation, it might be suffocating.

Faculty: The teaching quality is okay and the course curriculum is partially relevant to prepare us for the industry. Semester exams are decent and the passing percentage is always above 60-80 percent. Semester exams are fine but sometimes the study breaks in between aren’t sufficient.

Other: I have an interest in coding so I chose this course. Several employee benefits would be provided if I get placed as a software engineer. I wish that teaching was more practical and application oriented rather than just the theory part with no clarity of why and where to use it. Cultural and sports day happen every year and symposium takes place too.

The best course for getting a valuable certificate for the best fee structure.

Placements: About 75.7 percent students had the opportunity to get placed for about more than 6 LPA worth of packages in top companies like Cognizant, Amazon, Zoho, Accenture, Sutherland, Merp, DJI, etc. Roles offered vary from that of software engineers to managers in this course.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is decent and not the best. Food is pretty average, neither too tasty nor too bad. Infrastructure wise, it is a small college having one small football ground, cricket ground, two volleyball nets, indoor table tennis courts, and a basketball court. Different sports are available here.

Faculty: The faculty is always helpful and the classes are good. The teachers are well qualified. Students are not industry ready as they need additional skills besides academics. The exams are skill based and can be passed with having a minimum knowledge of the subject.

Other: College events are very low compared to the other colleges. Overall, it is a decent college and you can acquire a good valued certificate.

The college is nice assuring good placements.

Placements: Our college has a placements percentage of 75.34% and the highest package recorded was around 6 LPA, the lowest package was 1.2 LPA and the average was 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Zoho, Tech Mahindra, etc. About 80% of the students got internships in major companies like Zoho, Cognizant and Wipro.

Infrastructure: Our college has a decent level of infrastructure, with an average Wi-Fi facility and a library having limited books. The food in the hostel is average, there’s no flavor. The labs are neat, air conditioned and maintained properly by the staff.

Faculty: The teachers are all qualified and they are very helpful in clearing the doubts. They are all well experienced and qualified in their teaching style. They conduct internal assessments every month to test the knowledge of the students.

Other: I chose this course in this college to get a Certificate for my course. The college conducts a cultural event once every year.

Really good for infrastructure and the faculty members are very helpful.

Placements: It is a very good college having excellent placements with good packages. TCS, Microsoft and many other top companies visit for recruiting. Around 90% of the students are getting placed with good packages in the college. In CSE course, the top roles offered are that of front end and back end developers.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good and neat. College infrastructure is very good and kept clean. The lab facilities are very good and the college atmosphere is the best for it’s nature. The quality of the hostel food was very good and its taste was nice. The hostel has a good Wi-Fi connection as well.

Faculty: The faculty members are good and every faculty member has completed their Ph.D. They are very helpful towards the students. The semester exams are not so difficult. In one semester, there are just 1 to 2 subjects which are difficult but if you put efforts, you will easy pass. The teachers are very good. They train the students for every situation.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Computer Science and in current times, computers are everything. It is the future.
