Overall, the college is very good and it has very good infrastructure.
Placements: 60% of students were placed last year. The average package is 5 lakhs per annum. Amazon, the company's offering placements in this course, is Cisco L&T. 60% of students got intensified, offering good companies in print to their branch last year.
Infrastructure: The college has different labs for different courses. The labs are well-equipped with the latest equipment, which is useful for company recruitments. The college does not have hostels, so students need to find private hostels outside the campus. The college has a sports program that allows students to play sports after college hours.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they have a lot of experience. The course curriculum is relevant and is revised every year. For each year, there are two mixed-mode exams and one lab exam. The pass rate is eighty percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in electrical subjects from my schooling. The best thing about the course is the way of teaching and the ease with which the teachers make us understand the subjects. However, the curriculum needs to be improved, and there should be more practical explanations in the labs. The college also has a three-day festival called euphoria that takes place every year. In the second and third years, students participate in extracurricular activities for two hours each week.

Best placements Every year.
Placements: 90 percent of students get placed. The highest package was 45 LPA and least was 4.5 LPA. Each and every student gets to train in such a way that everyone gets job here and many internship opportunities all along. Each and every stream gets their respective placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library are very much modified and very well maintained. Maintenance is good and better for education. Infrastructure is just fine. Hostels are fine and good quality of food is provided.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in different ways in exploring and gaining knowledge all though it is very much disciplined and known for the best college. It's very much concerned about the studies and lives of students. The semester exams are moderate.
Other: I chose Electrical and electronics engineering because it is very well designed and opportunities are very real and has very high value for the degree certificate.

Faculty members and curriculum are fine. The campus is small.
Placements: Overall, the placement rate is about 70-75%. The average package is 6 LPA and the highest package is about 46 LPA. In EEE, the average package offered is 4 LPA and the placement rate in that branch is about 49%. Core companies like Qualcomm, Silicon Labs, Medha Servo Drives, and Bosch visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in this college. If we need we can stay in private hostels. There is a Wi-Fi facility for classrooms but blocks, don't have a proper network. There is a canteen to bunk classes. The college has well-equipped labs.
Faculty: Experienced and qualified faculty members are available in the college. They guide students through academic projects and are approachable for academic assistance. It follows the choice-based credit system and is periodically updated to align with industry standards. It has two mid-term exams and one end semester.
Other: There is no ragging in the college. The college also provides scholarships for needy people. Acumen is a fest organsied for each department and Euphoria is the annual fest which is conducted in the month of April.

A good college for placements and for quality education but still need some improvements.
Placements: In my course, about 70-80% students got placed. The highest package of 2023-2024 is 13LPA, the lowest is 6LPA and the average package is 7LPA. The top recruiting companies in our course are Oracle, TCS, Wipro, Cisco and many others. Top roles offered in our course are that of Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for my course is very good. The faculty members are well experienced and their teaching methods are also good. Labs are well-equipped with instruments. Classrooms are very good being spacious and having projectors available for PPTs. The college doesn't have it’s own hostel, the private hostels would cost you around 6k-8k per month with all the basic amenities.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced, qualified and their teaching methods are also good. The course curriculum is relevant, it makes the students industry ready by giving real life examples and how to avoid problems and solve real life issues in the industry. The semester exams’ difficulty level is between medium and high. To pass a subject, minimum 40% aggregation is required.
Other: Due to my rank and cut-off, I chose this course. The flexibility of pursuing of this course towards public or private sector was also a factor along with the rapid growth in the EV Sector which may lead to more demand of electrical engineers in the future. To improve the course, there should more PPTs and videos shown for better understanding of the subject. Two fest are conducted by the college. One is a technical fest called ACUMEN and other is a cultural fest called EUPHORIA. The campus is surrounded by trees which is helpful in the summer for avoiding heat. There are various clubs which are open for only 2nd and 3rd year students like Arts, Writers, Flim Making, Photography, etc. There are two dance groups named Abhinaya and Team Ballet. We also have Swayam which is an entrepreneurship cell for the students who are interested in startups.

It’s an engineering college behaving like a strict school.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed in my course last year, but this year, the placements were less in our college. The highest package offered was 80 lacs and the lowest was 2.8 Lacs with an average package of around 4.5 Lacs in companies like TCS and Accenture. The role offered to our core series with the highest package is that of delivery manager.
Infrastructure: The college is really small infrastructure-wise. There is no Wi-Fi connection in the college. The labs are okay. The classrooms are good and the library has actually around 1 Lac books which is a decent number. No hostel facility is provided in the college and the sports are held once weekly.
Faculty: The teachers are will educated, qualified and helpful, but some of them are not capable of teaching some subjects. Even when the teacher is unable to teach a subject, the management is going to give that subject to her and she will teach us by reading out a paper.
Other: The best thing about EEE is that we can get government jobs after completion. The thing that should be improved is the course curriculum. The curriculum is updated and not useful for the present generation jobs.

Hi Karthik, according to last year admissions you can't get admission in ECE stream in Vasavi College of Engineering through your EAMCET rank.
