A good college with decent placements and good campus life.
Placements: So, actually, my batch (2023-2027) is preparing for placements well, and many companies come to our college for recruitment. Also, top companies like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Infosys do recruit students from our college, and also recently, a student from our college got placed in Myntra.
Infrastructure: I live in a college hostel, and I have Wi-Fi, RO purified water, and our college campus is better than other college campuses. Our labs are equipped with decent equipment. In the hostel, we also have a gymnasium where you can improve your physique and take care of your health. We also have laundry.
Faculty: Our teachers are really helpful-minded people, and they always motivate us to study hard and have a better future as well as a better career. Semester exams are medium level to clear as we can't predict the semester question paper, but our staff explain the concepts very clearly.

Our college is good for placement and studies.
Placements: In the recent batch of the IT department, 70%-80% UG students got placed through campus drives. The highest package offered touched approximately 30 LPA-35 LPA, while the lowest package is about 3 LPA, and the average package ranges from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Deloitte, Cognizant, Zoho, and Amazon, with emerging product-based companies and start-ups. Nearly 70% to 80% of students secured internships and jobs. The roles offered are primarily Software Developer, Associate Engineer, Data Analyst, Cloud Engineer, and Front-end developer with a wide range of career paths.
Infrastructure: The IT department has decent infrastructure with wi-fi, computer labs, and a good library that supports our studies. Hostel life is comfortable, both AC and Non-AC rooms are available with furnished and good internet connection. The mess food is really good with both veg and non-veg options available, and there are enough sports, medical, and canteen facilities to keep both academics and daily life balanced.
Faculty: The faculty in the IT department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and most of them are approached when students need guidance or any help. The curriculum is regularly updated with core subjects, electives, and practical components, meeting industry needs through study, and often needs to upskill through internships and certification. The semester exams are moderately difficult, mostly testing conceptual clarity. The pass percentage is, as usual, like 50%. Most students are able to clear easily with consistent effort.
Other: I chose IT because of my interest in technology and coding. The best part of the course is the practical exposure, supportive faculty, and placement opportunities. I wish the curriculum included more industry-focused projects and emerging technologies. The campus has good events, fests, and cultural events like Aavihshkar have been celebrated grandly, and scholarships with a lively and diverse crowd.

The infrastructure of college is average but the infrastructure of hostel is very good.
Placements: The placements at my college are not good enough. However, the college does provide teaching for placements, including aptitude, logical, and quants. Additionally, some events like Codathon are available here. Top companies like TCS and Zoho collaborate with the college. If we have skills in computer languages, we will likely be placed on-campus or off-campus.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are average, and the infrastructure is not good enough. In some areas of the campus, the Wi-Fi doesn't work properly, and we can't get a phone signal. However, the library facilities are good, and the placement cell is helpful. Sports are not a priority here, but the hostel infrastructure is excellent, and the food in the mess and canteen is average. The hostel is located on campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and the way of teaching is average. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty. After the first year, every student has to do a mini-project for their final year. In the department of information technology, every faculty member is very helpful in every aspect, such as choosing a mini project, in studying, and they also conduct some teaching events to improve our knowledge. They also notify us of other college teaching events. After entering the department, there will be 3-4 days of lab sessions per week.
Other: The college hosts an annual two-day festival called Aavishkaar, where students can showcase their skills and talents. The college has a below-average environment, but it does offer some scholarships. The college also has an NCC unit that comes under the Chennai A group and belongs to the army wing.

Life In Vel Tech is average.
Placements: Usually, compared to us, companies prefer CSE students more so placements are less in our department than in the in the CSE department. I think the highest salary package offered was about 22 or 24 lacs per annum. Students do get a wide range of opportunities to do internships in companies.
Infrastructure: Regarding the overall infrastructure, consider it to be in the average range. And about the classes, every departmental class looks different and I cannot exactly describe the classes. They are good. About hostels, the infrastructure differs for every hostel as there are many hostels and the quality of food is the worst.
Faculty: I cannot describe the teachers as a whole; everyone is different. Each one will have a unique teaching method. Some are passionate but some are not. I don't know if the curriculum makes us industry ready but I know that the curriculum is old and still needs to be improved. Semester exams are quite easy to clear if you have good internal marks, which are also easy to get. The pass percentage is 50%.

Placements: * 80% of students got placed in our course 2022 batch. * 80LPA is the highest package got from our campus it's an US-based company, so the salary count is in dollars. * Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahendra etc. are the top recruiters in our campus. * 20% of people's got internship at Zoho and the rest of the people at Emphasis Coimbatore. * Software engineer and software trainee roles are offered.
Infrastructure: In our department, they provide well-maintained and upgraded systems with Wi-Fi, and the library will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for more than 12 hours so that we can use it properly. Even in our hostel, they provide Wi-Fi, and the food quality is average, with non-veg options provided twice a week.
Faculty: Teachers are always available to clear up any confusion, and a library is also available to help us. Of course, our college offers additional classes related to industry level training, which is very beneficial to us, and additional knowledge about the industry is a good qualification, as evidenced by repeat students. Semester exams are always difficult for those who do not even touch their syllabus on the model exam time. Now that our college is autonomous, it is easier to get a passing mark in semester with a proper score. 40% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course to work in a well-known company, and I am also very interested in technology, which is why I chose this information technology course. I believe they should reduce the syllabus and provide more training and sessions related to our industry's idealogy. Event fests and other extracurricular activities are commonplace in our college, with each department hosting an event on a monthly basis.

Our college is an autonomous college with good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placements every year. The highest salary package is 26 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1 LPA. Wipro, Oyo, Byjus, etc are top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: College is located within a peaceful nature out of the city with no pollution. Wi-Fi, labs, neat classrooms, a big library, a restroom on every floor with neatness, 3 canteens and a food court is also available.
Faculty: Senior-most faculty with lots of experience are provided. Placement training classes start from 1 year. It is easy to clear semester exams. Around 50% is the pass percentage. Exams are conducted monthly which is a little hard.
Other: I chose IT because coding is the future. Computer will rule the future world. Events are very less. Mega cultural named Aavishkaar will be celebrated every year. Celebrities are invited.

The college was good to study and kindly teachers.
Placements: About 65%of students were placed.
the highest is 4.5LPA average 3 LPA and the lowest 1.8 was offered.
Infosys, wipro, tcs, zoho, Emphasis, virtusa, byjus are the top recruiters.
Developer, process associate, tester, Technical support roles were offered.
The highest salary 5L, average 3.5L, and the lowest 2.5L was offered to our course.
30% students were got internship in their selected companies.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi computer labs, digitalized class with smart projectors, with internet library that we can read books either manually and through internet. The hostels were well cleaned and hygiene. the food was awesome, We have the internet support and gym facility inside the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers were very kind and friendly and supported to my growth and told many of good stuffs that we can learn better according to the studies and outside the world. It's really awesome for the students career the teachers helped so much to clear the interviews.
Other: My aim is to be an software engineer so that I've chosen the course I learnt much more about the course that helps me to be in an IT field
The course is really awesome and I came with lot of stuffs.
Events, sports, scholarship all those things were provided by the college management.

I am satisfied with scholarships, games, good ambience and infrastructure of the college.
Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in our course. The salary offered was ranging between Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 60,000 per month for the students without partiality only through grades. All top companies visit our campus for recruitment. In our course, the salary package offered ranges from 1.5 LPA to 7.5 LPA. Above 60% of students got internships in companies like BNP, Paribas, Capgemini, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. I am not a hosteler, so I don't know about the hostel. The food served in the canteen is healthy and good. Medical and sports facilities are awesome. There is a medical room to care for a student in a good ambience to take rest. Sports are given importance in our college. They have national & international sports achievements like Anna University bodybuilder champion. Many courts are available for games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful in preparing for exam and project. Mostly all the teachers are good, graduated, and many of them are holding a doctorate in their subjects. They are knowledgable and experienced. Teaching is good, but the teaching of teachers who are freshers is a bit boring. Curriculum 2013 regulations are a very old process of engineering nowadays all processing the technics are improved. The course curriculum needs to be upgraded. But it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I opted for the course because information technology is the upcoming future and to create a new thing for upcoming future development. The college needs to have many new programming languages to improve students skills and to get knowledge about programming. Many events are conducted in college. The campus is huge and is almost crowded. The campus surrounding was filled and dictated with flowers and grade. The important part of our college is that it provides good scholarships in a genuine process. Students are satisfied with the college.
