The college tries to improve its well-structured campus architecture and student development.
Placements: I am willing to give no stars because other colleges provide placements from the third year or the last semester onwards. In my college, only one or two companies come for campus drives. They are small companies that visit in the final year, during the seventh semester.
Infrastructure: My department is the worst in terms of maintaining the building, classrooms, and staff, as the staff is not well suited. The college is only now trying to improve the appearance of the campus. The hostel is also very poor, including the food, bathrooms, and rooms. It is not worth the money.
Faculty: Only one or two staff members are good, while the others are not well suited for their positions. They do not build a proper connection between the course and students. Mostly rely on generic teaching methods. It feels like if you study the night before the exam, you get pass.
Other: It is fate that I got this course through counselling, and I have not gained much except good friends. Everything needs improvement, including the campus, food, management, and placements. The college conducts Pratiyog, cultural events, and symposiums, but they are only average.

Satisfied with my college experience of this 2 years.
Placements: Above 65% of students got placed from information technology course during the year 2024-2025. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are ZOHO, TCL, Wipro, and Accenture. Above 75% of students got internships from information technology course in Corizo, Cognizant, and Novitech.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with neat classrooms and labs. In the IT department, the WI-FI is only in the staff room and the password will be shared with the students when the students' tasks from the staff. The quality of the hostel is above average, and the food is average. This college places give importance on sports and there are 2 grounds in the college. One is near the university and the other is near hostel. Medical facilities are very poor in the college.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are very helpful to the students in their career guidance and to complete their course in the college. Most of the teachers are qualified with their PG, and they are well updated with the current world. The quality of the teaching is 5 out of 5 and we can easily understand the concept by the industrial practical examples. This college faculty helps the students to be ready to work at the software companies through their placement training from the 3rd semester. The semester exam is a little different because this college is affiliated with Anna University.
Other: My batch is 2023-2027, and my department is information technology.

A Brief Information on Jeppiar Engineering College.
Placements: The placement support of Jeppiar Engineering College could be improved. While some students manage to land good jobs, not all students are getting placed every year. The placement is not very strong, but it actually manages to place some students. It has also signed many MOUs but could be improved to ensure that all students are getting placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility at Jeppiar Engineering College is average. While the basics are covered, the maintenance is not managed properly. This maintenance is not up to the mark, and it has been in an average condition. The food quality is also not up to the mark; it has been in average condition.
Faculty: The faculty at Jeppiar Engineering College are mostly Ph.D. holders and double degree holders. They have enough knowledge to teach the students and are supportive in many academic matters. They do help us in a lot of situations. Overall, they have a good teaching faculty.
Other: The college feels overcrowded in the mess, near the canteen, and in the hostel also.

There was good food earlier but now it's all ruined. Still, placements are pretty good.
Placements: In the case of education and infrastructure, it's a little sick but it's opposite to the placements. In our class, 94 students got placed out of 103 as of now. The highest package is 24.5 LPA. The lowest package is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Paypal and Zoho.
Infrastructure: The labs are perfect and awesome. The infrastructure is sick. We have labs / Wi-Fi/library is also very awesome. The hostel has laundry, gym grounds, food court, mess, etc. We do also have a medical. Our institution is very well focused on sports. But the food won't be up to expectations.
Faculty: I would give 4 stars because the faculty are friendly and greatly helpful and they are knowledgeable as well. Our institution comes under Anna University so it's up to their curriculum. The difficulty of subjects always depends upon ourselves it's nothing like hard or easy our efforts matters.

Teachers are good, but the food is bad.
Placements: Almost 85% of the students got placed in our course. The average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. HCL, TCS and Infosys are the companies recruiting students from our college. Fewer students from our college are getting an internship from our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection is poor in our college, and labs have some faulty system. Food quality is bad, and due to the variation of lunch timing, some students are suffering to get some food items from the menu of the day. Canteen food is not that good, but it is of the high cost.
Faculty: Some teachers are good at teaching with their experience. Some staff members provide us with study materials for their respective subjects and that are also useful. If the user has some extra programming skills, then that might be absolute with relevant curriculum.
