It is a good college particularly for this department as it received NBA accreditation.
Placements: Around 75% of students get placed and others went to higher studies. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Amazon, and Flipkart. Commerce websites also come, many students get internships in hospitals like Deepam and Apollo. Students expect more companies to approach this year because of the accreditation, and also have a value-based course biomedical waste management course.
Infrastructure: It provides all laboratories regarding our subject, well-designed equipment, Wi-Fi facilities, air-conditioner facility. But for big equipment like CT, MRI, students move to a hospital visit to learn about the website. Students have MatLab licenses installed, new computers, equipment, and all those.
Faculty: The pass percentage is 40%. Teachers help students to understand the concepts more simply and the semester exams are in a way of thinking, applying, and then writing. Students have good theoretical knowledge in learning and need to attend internship training to get industrial knowledge.
Other: I opted for this subject, because of my interest in it. It is a privilege that our department gets NBA accreditation for the next 6 years which acts as a major advantage.

Review of School of Engineering, VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.44 LPA. The average salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Laerdal is the top recruiter. Roles of a sales and service engineer are offered. The college charges an average fee of 1 lac per annum. Almost 100% of the students usually get internships in biomedical companies and hospitals like SRMC, Biovision, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are perfect in the biomedical department. The library is decent. Classrooms are fine. Staffs are perfect on their work, thinking sports support from PET is useless. The medical facility is fine because of small Apollo Clinic inside the college. The canteen is fine for the small purpose.
Faculty: The knowledge of biomedical staff members is excellent and can expect good support from HOD and other staffs. The course curriculum has been updated as per the industry requirements. Implant training for every semester holidays is must in the biomedical department.
Other: I have chosen this course only because it was a new topic for me and a unique one for others. The best thing about this course is embedding engineering with healthcare gives good opportunity. The should be more support during project time because that's the time where students learn more about their course. National conferences and workshops are conducted every year.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placements, faculty, and good infrastructure.
Placements: They provide more placement opportunities in our university. They have tie-ups with reputed software companies like IBM, Cognizant, Philips, and other reputed companies. They also give placement training to ace the placement. Placement training exams are conducted every semester.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. AC classrooms with smart classes. Big auditorium. There's a library in which all journals, books, and e-books are available and easy to access. Hostels are good too, and hostel food is good. We have AC facilities in laboratories. Laboratories are good too.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly, and they are very approachable. They give notes on time and give reference books and question banks. They also arrange for internships for students. Very friendly and approachable. Feels like home. We feel free to approach.
Other: I've chosen this course to explore more in the medical field and in engineering as well. I like this course very much, and I'm looking forward to exploring more. The campus is good, always crowded, and connectivity is very good. There are many extracurricular activities, more clubs, and more events. Nothing to be improved because this is the best.
