Best M.Tech college in Pune.

Placements: Placement for heat power is very limited; the majority of steel companies like Tata Steel, JSW Steel, SRJ Steel, and BRM, as well as Emerson and Kirloskar, are major recruiters. The package is 35,000 per month. Internship is not given by college; we find it on our own. The roles offered are furnace maintenance engineer and HOD.

Infrastructure: College campuses are small. There are many cultural and non-cultural events that happen every year in February. The college library provides a number of books for research and teaching purposes. All classrooms are equipped with projectors and modern PCs. The hostel facility is not very nice; the food quality is very low, and they do not provide lunch. They provide a fan, table, and chair in the room.

Faculty: Teachers motivate us to become entrepreneurs; they conduct many activities. In their own subject, they are good at teaching; most teachers are elderly. The course is about material and heat transfers. Our college is the best in this course. We have projects every semester. Semester exams are difficult; passing is a little easy, but scoring is difficult.

Highly reputed college with good teachers and adequate infrastructure.

Placements: I am studying M.Tech heat power Engineering at Vishwakarma institute of technology, Pune. I will complete my M.Tech in June 2020. Around 30% are placed. Salary offered is around 3.5lpa. Top recruitment taken by Forbes Marshall and John Deere. Top role offered is CFD Engineer.

Infrastructure: College have 400mb Wi-Fi on each no. Which is fully opened. College is quite small in size but very well recognised in Maharashtra. There is only 1 ground available which is used for all events. Mess facilities are good. Must go to small fruit center. It has both quality and quantity.

Faculty: Well, if you are well behaved and sincere student with high attendance then everyone is very helpful. Best teacher this college have is Dr. S. Pavithran sir. He is extremely talented teacher. Course curriculum is revised every year. But remember, you have to take efforts from your side for significant difference.

Other: I like CFD and I would like to go for Ph.D. that is why I chose this college.

I am satisfied because placements are good here.

Placements: About 70% of the students form our course get placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cummins India Limited, Forbes Marshall, KPIT, Renshaw, etc., visited our college for placements.

Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi facility for the students. The infrastructure of our college is good. The college provides two canteens. Quality of food served in the canteen is tasty and affordable for all students.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They are highly qualified. All the teachers are knowledgeable. All teachers are PhD holders or pursuing a PhD. They make the students industry-ready. Mechanical department faculty and teaching staff members are of the best quality.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in this branch. I am doing post-graduation in heat power engineering at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.

One of the reputed College in Pune with good placement record.

Placements: 10 percent students get paced via campus placement for M.Tech course. Generally for M.Tech student starting salary is 4LPA. Kirloskar and Forbes Marshall are the top recruiting companies. If you applied for internship then due to college reputation you will get internship easily. Generally 60 percent students get internship.

Infrastructure: College was established in 1986. Due to the old building, all the time renovation is going in. College campus provides you a 2 canteens one of them is pure non-veg and one of them is pure veg. There is a lot of place available for your car and bike parking. At the campus, there is free campus Wi-Fi available all the time.

Faculty: All the respected professors in VIT are very highly educated. They have completed their education through different IIT across the country. There are Ph.D. Holders with depth of knowledge and easy to solve any query. Course was designed by HOD himself with the help of associate professors. That's why they know what kind of education our student require to compete with the market conditions.

Other: I cracked my GATE 2019 exam via allotment I get VIT. I am regularly interested in Thermal subject. I heard very much about VIT college reputation, name fame and they also provide placement. That's why I get attracted toward the heat power engineering through VIT and collect my M.Tech in heat power engineering degree. Really my experience till date is absolutely fabulous. Very studious plus extracurricular activities are taking place in College each semester.
