VNIT Nagpur cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for admission to the BTech and BArch courses. The cutoff was out for both the AI and HS quota categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 VNIT Nagpur JEE Main cutoff 2026 ranged from 574 to 37846. As per this range, BArch was the most difficult course for admission. For the BTech engineering course, the most sought-after specialisation was BTech CSE, with the cutoff being 6685.

VNIT Nagpur 2025 cutoff has been released for round 1 for students seeking admission to MSc specialisations on the basis of CCMN. According to the placement report 2025, the highest package at VNIT was INR 64 LPA whereas it was INR 60 LPA for IIIT Nagpur. Also, the average package at IIIT Nagpur was INR 14.96 LPA which was better than the average package of INR 10.7 LPA So it can be said that the placement record of IIIT Nagpur was better than VNIT overall.

The VNIT Nagpur admits the eligible candidates to the MSc programme through the Centralised Counselling (CCMN). The selection is based on IIT JAM entrance examination score. All eligible candidates who have appeared for IIT JAM can register for the Centralised Counselling after the result is declared.
