This college is recommended by me.
Placements: The placement percentage of students in Political Science Hons is about 40 to 55%, and the offered package was 6.09 LPA (the highest), while the median package offered was about 80,000. Which is, I think, a decent package for any UG student. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, ICICI, Google, and Wipro. They are known for recruiting the best. Approximately 30-40% of students from Zakir Husain Delhi College (ZHDC) secure internships, with many finding opportunities in companies like Internshala, Youth Ki Awaaz, and Penguin India.
Infrastructure: In the college, we get many facilities available, but it is not as good as expected. Still, it's kind of okay; the very much-needed facility is clean and has drinkable water, and here our college lacks that. However, now that a new union has been appointed, they do good work for students. We have great library facilities and comfortable seats for students.
Faculty: The faculty in the Political Science Department at Zakir Husain Delhi College is generally well-regarded. Teachers are described as highly qualified, with most holding Ph.D. degrees and excelling in their areas of specialization, such as Political Theory, International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Indian Politics. The Political Science Honours curriculum at Zakir Husain Delhi College is described as relevant and aligned with contemporary needs, particularly for students aiming for careers in public services and Comparative Politics, which are designed to build strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Other: I think there is not much that I can say now but as we have a slump surrounding the college, that is one negative point that I want to see improved.

Not what I was expecting.
Placements: There may be placements, but I am not really aware of any because none of my classmates or anyone I know in academia have applied for placement. However, I believe there may be top-tier placements after UG. I have opted not to pursue PG courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old, broken, and obsolete with dirty walls and untidy classrooms. The projectors in each classroom hardly work, and the benches are broken with all sorts of inscriptions on them. However, there is a new building with equipment, but it has been over 5 years since it was inaugurated after completion. Everyone is complaining about this, and there was a new column addressing the same issue.
Faculty: In terms of academics, the college is pretty good. The teachers are qualified but they hardly show up for class; most classes are canceled every now and then. The exams aren't hard at all; everyone passes because the pass percentage is merely 37%.

As a Zakirian, I am satisfied with my course and its faculty members.
Placements: I am studying B.A. Political Science Honors from Zakir Husain Delhi College, which comes under Delhi University. As my course is a humanities-based course, it has only a few placement opportunities. But a certain percentage of students are engaged in internships.
Infrastructure: Zakir Husain Delhi College is a college that comes under Delhi University. Our college doesn't provide hostel facilities. Our classrooms are not good. But we have a grand new building with high facilities. We are expecting to open it in 6 months.
Faculty: Yes. The teachers are very helpful. Especially our college has a handful of the best faculty members of this course from Delhi University. Thus, teaching quality is assured by our college. This curriculum is very relevant and important for public exams like the UPSC. The semester exams are in a normal, easy mode.
Other: My aspiration is to become a civil servant. As this course is very important for UPSC, I chose it. As NEP was introduced, students can also do research on the subject when they complete the course.

Teachers are good-hearted and friendly.
Placements: There is a placement cell in Zakir Husain College, but the activity of the cell has not been visible in the college, which is why I am not very aware of it. I do recall a fest organized by the placement cell in the college while I was studying in the first year. That's the extent of my knowledge on this matter.
Infrastructure: Firstly, our college does not provide hostel accommodation for students. The current infrastructure is quite poor; there is no Wi-Fi, projector, or any other comfortable atmosphere. However, the library is good and comfortable, with available Wi-Fi and an extensive collection of books, especially relevant to my course.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly, helpful, and highly qualified. Exams are relatively easy to clear if one is genuinely interested in the field. I am enrolled in the NEP course introduced by DU in the previous year, which assures me of the curriculum's relevance.
Other: I chose Political Science based on my interest, and this course offers numerous opportunities in India and abroad. I believe it would be beneficial if the college were to improve its infrastructure, events, and festivals to create a better atmosphere for students. Additionally, scholarships are available.

Our college doesn't provide good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placement society of our college organises an event every year in which top-notch brands like Byju's and Physics Wallah hire interns to work for flexible working hours and provide them with great opportunities and help them to excel further.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Our college is very old. Canteen is not well maintained. Library is air-conditioned and has a lot of books and Wi-Fi. There is no proper sports ground.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good especially, in the psychology, economics, and political science departments. They have master's degrees from reputed universities like JNU. Teachers are well-qualified in the field of teaching and classes are held regularly.
Other: Fests and events organised in our college are good because the campus area is small. It is in a very distant location.
