Placements: Almost 100% of placement is offered to students. The average package is from INR 71k to 3.6 Lacs per annum. Companies like Arvind, ZARA, and skybags, have hire from NIFT. Companies visit the campus to hire students directly. Students participate in placement drives organized outside the campus. Some students receive job offers based on their performance during internships or industry projects.

Infrastructure: NIFT Kolkata has all the necessary facilities. The classrooms are very spacious and the labs have all the necessary tools. The hostel is well-maintained and has a free WI-FI facility. The highest package offered was around 12 Lacs per annum, while the lowest package was around 4 Lacs per annum. The average package stood at 7 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies include Titan, FabIndia, and Hidesign. Around 70% of students secured internships, with prominent companies like Tanishq and Fossil being among the top recruiters. The top rules offered were accessory designer, product developed, and merchandiser.
