Maintaining a perfect balance in studies while preparing for JEE Main is important. Focus on covering and practising all the topics is required to achieve high marks in entrance exams. Keep calm and work on enhancing the confidence level during the preparation of exams like JEE Main.

JEE Main is one of the most important exams engineering aspirants after Class 12 board examination. While preparing for such an important examination, preparation tips often come in handy to clear any competitive exam.

The important tips to prepare for JEE Main are as follows:

  • The students could create a timetable and allot a minimum of 7-8 hours with a few breaks in between every day.
  • The students should wake up early as studying in the morning helps in understanding the concepts better.
  • Try to avoid taking a nap in the afternoon as it breaks the rhythm of the preparation.
  • Go through the NCERT syllabus thoroughly, especially when it comes to preparing the theory part. For Mathematics, refer both the NCERT book and RD Sharma as this would help in understanding the concepts easily.
  • Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the main subjects that a student should focus on to clear the JEE Main exam. Hence, allot equal time and complete dedication to have a firm grip on these subjects.
  • Proper time management is important to clear JEE Main examination. The students should practise sample papers with a stop clock to analyse the preparation and clarity of the concepts to score high.
  • Practise all the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), given in the NCERT book

In the last few weeks, go through and try solving previous years JEE Main papers, and also some sample papers available on the official website as this would help in understanding the exam pattern.

It is always suggested that students should start preparing for JEE Main from the beginning. However, if students have less time in hand then also they should not panic. The basic concepts of Class 12 board exams should be clear to perform well in JEE Main.

During the exam, do not waste time on a particular question, in case you do not know the answer move on to the next question. Maintain balance in thoughts, try to stay calm while preparing for JEE Main. Health is also very important, so eat healthy and stay fit.
