Chennai Institute of Technology offers bridge course to their engineering students
By P Sriram
CIT is committed to ensure that students have a great learning experience in their four years at CIT (Chennai Institute of Technology) Campus as they step into the realms of engineering. To ensure a successful transition from school to college, we have designed this 'Catapult' program. I am sure we all carry our childhood memories of playing with a catapult, a small device made of a Y-shaped stick, with a piece of elastic tied between two top parts and used for shooting small stones. An aircraft catapult is a device that is used to send aircraft into the air from an aircraft carrier. Similarly, this 'Catapult' program is designed to launch you successfully into a learning orbit and ensure smooth transition from school to college.
A dedicated team of faculty members, senior students and industry experts will guide students through the first two weeks, wherein students will be expected to learn by doing, and demonstrating the learning outcomes.
