Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute
DR MGR Educational and Research Institute was established as Dr MGR Engineering College. The institute acquired the status of Deemed to be University in 2003. The engineering college is approved by the University Grants Commission and accredited with Grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital (TMDCH) was established in the year 1991, by Tmt Kannammal Educational Trust. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has given the Deemed to be University Status to Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital from January 2003 in the name of Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute (Deemed to be University).
