I attended the JEE exam. In order to crack it, I did self-preparation after my 12th board exams. I studied with full dedication. I did not attend any coaching classes rather I used to watch videos online on YouTube.
I chose Biology as my course in 11th grade since it's a platform from where I could choose anything for my career. I had plenty of options for my career, So, I needed time to choose one.
I explored all my options within a span of two years. Finally, I chose the agriculture field to pursue my career before choosing my college. The reason for choosing it is that it is a unique course and is related to our daily life. Also, I came to know that it is one of the important revenue income sources of our country. We even come across all the problems faced by farmers through this course. This insisted me to choose it as my career. I wish to create something revolutionary and innovative in farming at a low cost to benefit low-income farmers.

My engineering cutoff was 183.75 and I was eligible for the agricultural department of this reputed college.
I attended the JEE exam. In order to crack it, I did self-preparation after my 12th board exams. I studied with full dedication. I did not attend any coaching classes rather I used to watch videos online on YouTube. My seniors also helped and guided me. I used to spend 10 hours a day on average for studying. I used to practice a number of mock tests to prepare for the exam. My motive was not only to crack the exam but also to score a good rank in it.
I even attended programs where experts guide the students about how to choose their career, its scope and future needs. I was also trying for PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore as I was told that it's known for agriculture.
But now I feel that I have chosen the best college for myself. I'll even suggest other students join Saveetha Engineering College to improve their skills and experience the most advanced facilities provided to each and every department.
I attend my classes from 8 am-3 pm. After that, I spend some time in the library reading books and articles. I go to the ground every evening to play kho-kho, kabaddi and basketball with my team. At times I even take training for high jump and hurdles. I also spend a minimum of 40 minutes in the gym which is in our hostel.
I'm very interested in attending practical classes where everything is done by us which help me to get more clarity about the subject. I like attending my core classes such as post-harvesting, food and dairy technology, hydrology, drainage and irrigation engineering, design of basic machine elements, surveying and analysis.
I am a campus coordinator for my department. I have coordinated technical events during the Symposium. I have hosted webinars organised in our college and participated in cultural events. I have won prizes in sports day.
If given a chance I would like to form a group and do farming in our college. I want to be a member of the NSS group. I also want to be a participant in the HackerRank team where a number of projects are displayed.
Participating in extracurricular activities other than studying has helped me a lot. It even taught me to socialize and has improved my communication skills. We even interact with the experts of each and every department to clarify our doubts and queries. I even attended a session with an astronaut. I was pleased to meet him and I came to know more about space, their work and what all it takes to be a successful person.
