Students’ Speak: Learn from every small mistake
By: Kandarp Patel
Learning from our mistakes is the biggest way to move forward and grow. In this article, Kandarp suggests ways by which we can use our mistakes for our advantage and improve.
If you think you did not perform well in JEE Main exam, this article will surely help you with what to do next. First of all, don’t worry and be relaxed, the event has already passed. Now instead of worrying, try to find the reasons why it happened and learn from the mistakes you have made. There are mainly two reasons why your exam did not go well:
- You did not prepare or study well enough and took the exam lightly.
- The paper difficulty level was high or paper was complex, lengthy, etc.
Now, if you are facing the first reason then it’s somehow a serious matter because at the time of preparation or studying, you were not serious enough. So why be serious and worry after the exam? But next time, don’t make this mistake again. But if you are facing the second reason then it’s completely not your fault. Because everyone who had given the exam might be facing the same situation as you. So keep calm and don’t take it too seriously and personally.
Have a look at the points which will help you move ahead positively:
- Don’t get upset; instead, value your hard work.
- Don’t think of this all the time.
- Analyse what mistakes you had made in the exam and make sure you don’t repeat it next time.
- Make your strategies very well after finding your mistakes.
- Try to learn from every small mistake.
- Don’t get into emotions.
- Just remember that one exam cannot ruin your future or life.
- Try to generate more and more benefits in the next exam by learning from the mistakes which you have made in this exam.
- So you should be smart enough to convert the difficult situation into a beautiful or best one in your upcoming exam.
- And yes, make sure that your upcoming exams should not be disturbed or affected by this exam.
- Don’t ever get into depressions. It’s completely the game of mindset, so be mentally strong.
- Focus well on your studies.
- Try to make yourself win even at a high difficulty level exam. Thus increase your potential.
- Devote more time in self-growth by learning new and useful things which can benefit you.
- Trust God, everything happens for a reason and for good only.
