Most of the interview questions were from the technical field and the technology in which I had done certification.

As I did my B. Tech. in CS so my most of the interview questions were from the technical field and the technology in which I had done certification in detail. Questions from my project were also asked with its use in day-to-day life. In most of the interviews, they first asked me to give an introduction and after that, they asked me about my native home, my family, as they want us to make us feel comfortable then the real game begins. Just after this, they asked me to write pseudo-codes for binary search, uses of the pointer, object-oriented programming, difference between overloading and overriding and some basic SQL queries like writing the query to find second largest salary from the given table, the difference between Drop and truncate in SQL, etc.

Let's discuss the answer to each question. Pointer stores address of any variable to which it is pointing and it takes less execution time as compared to other variables. OOPs is a concept from which we can hide unnecessary information on our database. Overloading happens within the class, so the function inside the class is supposed to have the same name but different return type or parameters so they can be overloaded. In overriding, one class will inherit with other one and then the function which declares in both the classes can have a same or different return type of parameters, but at time of calling the child class, it will execute the function of the child class.

At, the time of my campus drives I faced GD on below-listed topics:-

  • Trade war between America and China
  • Demonetization
  • Rafale deal
  • India challenges as Developing Nation
  • If trees can speak
  • GST should be implemented or not

During GD you have to be aware that don’t get distracted from the topic and speak about both pros and cons. So it means that you’re not biased. Don’t criticise any public figure by taking their name, just talk about what they did without taking their name. Topics like Demonetization, trade war and rafale deal need lots and lots of general knowledge. You will be out of the competition if you don’t get involved in the group discussion. So keep yourself updated time to time and keep practising.

At Lovely Professional University, you can take admission in BTech CSE through their own test called LPUNEST or based on your 12th marks.

JEE is not compulsory, but if you have a good JEE score, it can help you get admission and scholarship.

For B.Sc. Agriculture at LPU, the basic requirement is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and the usual eligibility is around 60% in aggregate. With 58%, you are very close to the requirement, so eligibility can depend on the current admission cycle and official university criteria, which ma
