Most of the time, companies offer 3-6 months internship in which if you perform well then they increase this duration or they hire you as a permanent employee, it all depends on your capabilities.

I am pursuing B. Tech. in CSE branch. In this course, internship is not compulsory at all. It depends on you whether you want to go for it. I will recommend you to search for an internship in your desired career path because it will enhance your skills which will improve your skills. My college allows internship after the 3rd year, off-campus and on-campus both. So, I can go for it. I just have to submit all the information related to my internship to the college.

Most of the time, companies offer 3-6 months internship in which if you perform well then they increase this duration or they hire you as a permanent employee, it all depends on your capabilities. One of my friends got an internship at a startup company that is just 5 years old. They asked him to learn a few new technologies within one month then he was assigned a demo project and after that, they selected the required candidate according to their performance and behaviour. Luckily, my friend made it. The most difficult part of an internship or job is the training period. If you performed well at that time then your chances of getting selected will increase.

What about college exams? Well, in my college, the examination department replaces all other subjects with industrial training subject in which we have to give a presentation regarding what I have done during my internship. Searching for an internship is really a tough job as we are not having industry knowledge and experience of doing a project on real-life based problems. This will increase the possibilities of mistakes from our end. If anyone is a quick learner, then he will adapt to the environment quickly and get comfortable, which will enhance his productivity.

When I was pursuing B. Tech, luckily I got a mini project in Digital Marketing. This was not my field but still, I did it so I could learn a few other things just to explore all other possibilities of this world. You can also do the same. There are some websites like Internshala, Freelancer, Chegg that offer in-office and work from home internship, you can apply to them, learn something new and be one step ahead from your classmates.

In the corporate world, reference matters a lot, so try to be in touch with your seniors so that in the future, they may help you get an internship opportunity in their office.

At Lovely Professional University, you can take admission in BTech CSE through their own test called LPUNEST or based on your 12th marks.

JEE is not compulsory, but if you have a good JEE score, it can help you get admission and scholarship.

For B.Sc. Agriculture at LPU, the basic requirement is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and the usual eligibility is around 60% in aggregate. With 58%, you are very close to the requirement, so eligibility can depend on the current admission cycle and official university criteria, which ma
