If you are not getting any good college with your JEE score then there is an option to drop a year. This will completely depend on you i.e. how determined are you to study for one year.

If you are not getting any good college with your JEE score then there is an option to drop a year. This will completely depend on you i.e. how determined are you to study for one year.

You should always try your hardest to get a good score but along with it you should also be prepared if luck is not in your favour. Don’t lose hope. If you have cleared the JEE Main then you can try your luck in JEE Advanced Advanced. However, if you haven’t cleared JEE Main then you may have some chances to get into some other colleges that do not consider your JEE Main score. You can try for other colleges such as BITS, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Jadavpur University, Nirma University etc. To get admission to these universities you should give tests such as VITEEE, BITSAT, COMEDK, WBJEE, etc.

So, if in the first attempt you get a low score then there is no need to take tension you have other options, too. First, you can opt for JEE Main exam in the April session. Now that you have given one attempt there are many chances that this time you will score well given your experience and preparation. You can improve the mistakes that you did in the first attempt.

You can also check for previous years counselling details like what will you get at this score and if there are some chances that you will get good option then you can wait for subsequent counselling sessions.

And if you are not getting any good college with your JEE score then there is also an option to drop a year. This will completely depend on you i.e. how determined are you to study for one year.

If you do not want to drop and you cannot find any good colleges, then the choice you have is to get admission in other good engineering colleges. There are many other colleges such as VIT, SRM, UPES, etc., that conduct their own entrance exam. Consider them as an option. In the end, your hard work during college will matters. I know many of my friends who did their engineering from normal colleges and they got good companies to work. Because if you have skill and talent then nothing matters, you will find your way to get success anyhow. But to achieve anything you have to work hard in the right direction.
