UPSEE 2021 Admission through JEE Main: Dates, Merit & Counselling

UPTU/AKTU 2021 counselling is beeing conducted by AKTU. UP B.Tech admissions 2021 will be done on the basis of JEE Main scores. Read to know dates, application process, counselling and more.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow has started the UPSEE 2021/AKTU 2021 counselling registration. Candidates can register online from the direct link given below or from the official website upcet.admissions.nic.in. All BTech admissions will now be done on the basis of JEE Main scores. To participate in the counselling of UPSEE 2021, the candidates will need to have a valid score in JEE Main. Last date for registrations for UPTU/AKTU 2021 counselling is October 3. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of  JEE Main scores of the candidates and as per the candidate’s preferred course and college filled during choice filling.

UPSEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2021 before applying for admissions. If the candidates are not able to meet any of the prescribed eligibility criteria, then they will not be eligible for admissions. From 2021, no entrance examination will be held and candidates will be able to apply for admissions on the basis of JEE Main scores.

UPSEE 2021 Application Form

AKTU will release the application form of UPSEE 2021 for all JEE Main qualified candidates in online mode. To participate in the counselling session, the candidates will have to fill out the application form with the required details within the given time period. The application fee also has to be paid by the candidates.

Step 1 – Registration: In the first step, the candidates will have to register using their basic details such as name, parent’s name, mobile number, email address and more.

Step 2 – Filling of Form: Next, the candidates will have to fill the UPSEE 2021 application form with their personal, contact and academic details. JEE Main details also have to be provided by the candidates.

Step 3 – Uploading Documents: Scanned photograph and signature of the candidate has to be uploaded. The scanned images should be as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step 4 – Fee Payment: Finally, the candidates will have to pay the required fee in online mode i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card.

UPSEE 2021 Merit List

AKTU will prepare the merit list of UPSEE 2021 on the basis of JEE Main 2021 scores. Since no entrance examination will be conducted, the authorities will consider the scores secured in JEE Main as the basis for admissions. For various categories, a separate merit list will be created by the authorities.

UPSEE 2021 Counselling and Seat Allotment

AKTU will conduct the counselling of UPSEE 2021 in online mode. The application form for the UPSEE 2021 counselling will be available only in online mode at the official website. Selection of preferred colleges and courses has to be done by the candidates. Allotment of seats will be done as per the ranks and preferences of the candidates. Selected candidates will have to confirm their admission by submitting the required details and paying the fee.

Q. Is UPSEE 2021 cancelled?

A. Yes. The entrance examination has been cancelled from the 2021 session. Admissions into the participating institutes will now be done on the basis of JEE Main scores.
