For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Electrical Engineering was 422516 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. For example in B.Tech in computer Science ( data science) branch in ABES Engineering College have only 180 seats wheras Computer Science have only 60 seats.
