Thapar University offers four-year BE/BTech courses at the undergraduate level, candidates seeking admission to TIET Patiala must visit the official website of the University to apply online. Yes, TIET considers Class 12 marks for admission to the BE/BTech courses along with valid JEE Main scores. Based on the marks secured in the entrance exam, a merit list is prepared. The merit list prepared by the University for BTech admission also includes the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Maths during the Class 12 examination.

IIT BHU admissions are done solely on the basis of entrance tests as prescribed by the state/national norms. Students must appear for the entrance tests like JEE Main or JEE advanced for Engineering admissions. Candidates must note that admissions into the BTech CSE Branch are particularly competitive in India, with IIT BHU as no exception.

Other courses worth exploring can be MPharma, BArch, ME, among others. Other entrance tests accepted at IIT BHU include GPAT,  GATE,  ICAR AIEEA,  IIT JAM,  CUET PG, and others.

Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad is one of the oldest IITs. Although the median salary has declined from INR 22 LPA in 2022–23 to INR 18.5 LPA in 2023–24 and INR 17 LPA in 2024–25, the rate of decline slowed from 15.9% to 8.1% year-on-year, indicating stabilising placement outcomes amid changing market conditions.
