Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test 2024 ( IMUCET )
IMU CET Cutoff 2026: The Indian Maritime University (IMU) conducts the IMU CET 2026 exam every year. The exam body IMU CET releases the IMU CET 2026 cut-off after the results are declared. It does the counselling for admission to all six its campuses. This is a centralised common counselling process. There are around three counselling rounds, and after each round, the IMU CET allotment list is released, which contains the IMU CET cutoff in the form of IMU CET opening and closing ranks. On this page, we have provided IMU CET opening and closing ranks for all three rounds. Also, the IMU CET cutoff is available for all six campuses and courses offered by them. IMU CET 2026 cutoff will be available after IMU CET 2026 counselling, until then, candidates can check below the IMU CET cutoff from the previous year. Note that IMU CET cutoff is available only for the six IMU campuses. Other colleges that accept IMU courses do not participate in any centralised counselling process, thus their cutoff list or the opening and closing ranks are not available. Candidates need to visit the official website of the respective college to apply for admission via IMU CET ranks.

IMU CET cutoff is made available in the form of opening rank (OR) and closing rank (CR). The candidates will be able to check the IMU CET OR and CR for 2026 after the seat allotment result is out after each round of counselling.

IMU CET 2026 Counselling Process
The Indian Maritime University (IMU) conducts the IMU Common Entrance Test (CET) counselling online for admission to its 6 campuses. Students must register by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 10,000 online using a debit card/credit card/net banking. Candidates then select their preferred programme and campus for admission through IMU CET. Shortlisted candidates are called to appear for counselling. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, verification of documents, and online fee payment. Registration for IMU CET counselling is available online, and the university conducts the counselling process in online mode only. Note that the online counselling process does not cover admissions to affiliated institutes. IMU CET counselling takes place in two phases.

Yes, SC/ST candidates get concessions in registration fees, and age relaxation is provided for OBC and SC/ST categories students. Reservations include 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (non-creamy layer), and 10% for General-EWS. IMU also has a special state reservation scheme
For NCC cadet students, they can get mark concessions: 5% for the 'C' certificate, 3% for the 'B' certificate, and 2% for the 'A' certificate

The University offers Tamil Nadu BC/MBC Scholarship of amount ranging from INR 50,000 to 60,000 and Maritime Training Trust (MTT) scholarship for Indian women seafarers for amount of INR 1,00,000.

There is also scholarships to Zilla Kalyan Office, UP amounting INR 50,000 and District Welfare Office, Saharsa, Bihar amounting INR 75,000 and to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Dehradun amounting INR 48,000.

As per IMUCET eligibility criteria, the age limit for students applying for B.Tech, B.Sc, B.B.A and DNS courses is below -

No age limit for students from M.tech, M.B.A. and M.Sc program
For PG graduate Diploma course in Marine Engineering -

The exam body will releases the IMU CET 2026 cut-off after the results are declared. The IMU CET cutoff is available for six IMU campuses. Other colleges that accept IMU courses do not participate in any centralised counselling process.
