KCET 2026 Maths Analysis

As shared by students, the Maths paper was easy to moderate. While many questions were direct, 7-8 questions were tricky, or as they said were time-consuming. Good Attempts were 40-45+ questions out of 60 and the exam which is generally based on NCERT, had 65-70% questions from topics based on II PUC syllabus. High-weightage areas included Calculus (Differentiation/Integration), Algebra (Matrices, Determinants, Quadratic Equations), Probability, and Coordinate Geometry.

KCET 2026 Chemistry Analysis

The KCET 2026 Chemistry paper was overall moderate to difficult level. Many students found it tougher to 2025/2024 session, some even compared it to JEE Main. The paper shifted more towards statement-based and assertion-reasoning questions. The paper was less formula-based and more conceptual. A high volume of questions were from the I PUC (Class 11) syllabus. There were questions from Organic Chemistry alongside Physical Chemistry which were considered time-consuming. A score of 40-50 is considered decent, while 50+ is excellent.

KCET 2026 Physics Analysis

The KCET 2026 Physics paper was moderate to difficult and heavily conceptual. There was a strong emphasis on theory over numerical problems. It was tougher than last year, with approximately 75% from Second PUC and 25% from First PUC syllabus. Contrary to previous years, there were fewer, long-form calculations and more reliance on deep, conceptual, and theoretical understanding. Questions were from Mechanics, Electrodynamics (Current Electricity & Magnetism), Modern Physics, and Optics. Due to the difficulty, overall cutoffs in Physics might be affected, say.
