KCET 28 August Biology Questions Paper Analysis (Version B2)

  • All the questions were will within the revised prescribed syllabus by Karnataka PU Board.
  • Options like - “None of the above”, “All of these” and “Both (A) and (B)” are used in many question.
  • Q. No. 2- The student may get confused between option B or C due to a spelling mistake in the option A.
  • Q. No. 19 - Student is expected to choose incorrect statement which is option-D. But in the English version due to an incomplete statement in the option B, student may get confused between option D or B. However, the same statement B in the Kannada version is correct.
  • A well-prepared student can score about 50-55 Marks in this question paper.
  • The paper consists of 15 questions from I PU and 45 from II PU portions in concurrence with the weightage.

No. The JEE Mains emphasizes on deep knowledge and quote challenging with negative marking whereas KCET is moderately difficult which emphasizes on direct factual questions with no negative markings.
