The Maharashtra CET Cell releases the official MHT CET Mock test on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. Students can download these MHT CET mock tests for free or practice online. Students can also download MHT CET mock test papers for free from Shiksha page. Practicing MHT CET mock test is very helpful in preparation of the exam. It will help students in analyzing their preparation level and finding their mistakes

Candidates are advised to take at least 10 to 15 mock tests in the last one month before appearing for the real examination. By solving the MHT CET mock test you can get a better understanding of how to manage time better in solving questions. Also, you will get an idea about the level of difficulty, type of questions, weightage of sections, etc. This will help you in preparing well for the exam.

Make a daily time table of study and devote at least 5-6 hours for MHT CET preparation. Students who are in class 11 or 12 can give 3-4 hours specifically for CET beside school studies. Students who have passed class 12 should also study at least 6 hours daily.

MHT CET paper do not have negative marking for incorrect answer. In MHT CET exam, Physics and Chemistry question is of 1 marks. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions. For any question, if none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or dropped, then full marks will be awarded to all candidates irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

It is not compulsory to attempt all the question in MHT CET exam. Students are advised to attempt only those questions for which  they know the correct answer. Questions for which the answer is not sure should be left. However, as there is NO negative marking in MHT CET exam,  questions for which answer is doubtful can be attempted in last. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.

Question papers will be visible in English, Urdu and Marathi. Candidates can switch the language of the question paper between languages. They can select any language but cannot switch chosen language during exam.

The syllabus of MHT CET is not similar to the Maharashtra Board class 11 and 12. Only a few chapters of Class 11 are covered in MHT CET syllabus. However, the entire class 12 syllabus is part of MHT CET syllabus. Also, the dificulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Mains.
