KCET Exam Date 2026: KEA released the KCET 2026 syllabus. Candidates can download the KCET subject-wise PDFs from the official website as well as from this page. Earlier, KEA released KCET 2026 notification PDF on January 18, 2026. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), is accepting KCET 2026 registrations from January 16, 2026 onwards. Candidates can apply till February 17, 2026.

Students can complete the KCET 2026 registration from - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea till the last date. Students who successfully submit the application form of KCET 2026 will be issued the hall ticket to appear in the exam. Earlier it announced the KCET 2026 Schedule. As per the KCET 2026 exam dates, the entrance exam will be held on April 23 & 24, 2026. The KCET 2026 exam will be conducted in offline pen and paper mode, tentatively. Karnataka Examinations Authority released the KCET 2026 application form. Applicants looking for admission to engineering courses can fill out the application form of KCET 2026 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The application process of KCET 2026 comprises registration, filling out forms, uploading documents, and payment of the KCET application fee. Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature at the time of filling the KCET application form 2026. After the registration process's conclusion, KEA will start the KCET 2026 application correction. Applicants who made any mistakes at the time of filling form can make corrections through the application correction.

KEA will release the KCET admit card 2026 at its official website - kea.kar.nic.in, and students who successfully register will be issued the admit card to download it from there. After downloading KCET hall ticket, they must check all details carefully. In case of errors, they must contact exam authority for corrections. Students must carry the KCET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.

Q:   What are the details required for CET hall ticket download?

KEA will release the KCET admit card at kea.kar.nic.in. Successfully registered candidates can download their KCET 2026 admit card through the application number and password. Applicants are advised to have all the details ready before downloading the KCET admit card 2026. Candidates can download the KCET hall ticket till the exam date. The applicants are advised to keep KCET admit card 2026 safely till the conclusion of the admission process.

Q:   What are the items required to be carried along KCET admit card at the exam centre?

Applicants appearing in the exam will have to carry their KCET hall ticket along with one valid photo ID proof. Candidates are also allowed to carry their personal pen/pencil and face mask inside the exam centre. Applicants are advised not to carry any item restricted inside the exam centre. KCET Exam Date 2026

KEA mentioned the KCET exam date 2026 on its notification PDF and released it on its official website. As per the dates announced, the test will be conducted on April 23 and 24, 2026. The Kannada language test will be conducted on April 22, 2026. The KCET entrance test will be conducted in offline pen & paper mode. Students will have to appear in the exam by carrying their admit card along with one government-issued photo ID proof.

The entrance exam will be held across major exam centres in the state of Karnataka to shortlist candidates for the B.Tech. course across participating universities. Students' final selection for the course will be based on their performance in the exam and how they go through the counselling process.

Applicants who appeared in the exam can check the KCET results through registration number and first four characters of their name. KCET Counselling Date 2026

Karnataka Examinations Authority will start KCET 2026 counselling online. Applicants shortlisted based on the results will be eligible to participate in the KCET counselling process. Candidates first need to complete the KCET counselling choice filling and locking from the login facility. Candidates will be able to access the option entry link from the official website upon release. 

After reviewing all the choices, KEA will release the KCET seat allotment 2026 at the official website. KEA will first release the KCET mock seat allotment 2026 after the counselling windows close. Candidates allotted college will have to report it to verify their documents and claim their seat. They must also pay their course fee to continue with their admissions.

Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET admit card online at the official website. Applicants appearing in the exam can download their KCET admit card through the application number password. Candidates must carry their KCET admit card and one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. KEA will not allow any candidate to appear in the exam without valid KCET hall ticket. The exam authority has released KCET admit card in online mode only. Applicants will not send the KCET hall ticket hardcopy on registered email or at any other mode.

Q:   Can I choose my preferred test slot for the KCET exam?
A: 

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow any candidate to choose their exam centre and slot. KEA will allot KCET exam centres on random basis based on the preference fillled by applicants at the time of filling form. KCET exam centre details will be conveyed to applicant through hall ticket.
