Generally, admission to engineering courses is based on the rank obtained by a student in the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the state government. In some states, there may be reservation quotas for students from certain categories, such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, or Economically Weaker Sections. Some states may also offer fee reimbursement or scholarship programs for eligible students. As far as the academic background is concerned, students who have completed their 10+2 education with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC) as core subjects are generally eligible to apply for engineering courses. However, students who have completed their education with Biology Physics and Chemistry (BPC) may not be eligible for admission to engineering courses in some states. Therefore, it is advisable to check the eligibility criteria and admission rules of the particular state and college where you are planning to apply for admission to engineering courses. It is also recommended to consult with the college admission department or a qualified education counselor for specific guidance on the matter.
